. One unit of three that I am developing is a set of six sculpture lessons that move from relief, through shadow boxes and culminate in a 2 session lesson where students will create a full 3-D piece. The two artists whose work I am basing my lessons on are Betye Saar and Martin Puryear. Does anyone have any experience using them in their lesson plans. Also, do you know of any posters available depicting these artists' work that I could use in the discussion portion of the lesson.
