Many of this country's most prominent artists received their first major exposure through a White Columns show. Our reputation has grown tremendously over the years as we have continued to occupy a unique place in New York's cultural arena. In March of 1998, we relocated and expanded the organization to further meet the demand for quality visual arts programs. Our new custom-built space near the Meat Packing District enables us to exhibit the works of dozens of artists each year and draws an average of 1,200 visitors each month. White Columns is New York's oldest alternative art space. |
