For 30 years he has explored movement, flight, energy and gravity to create objects with a strange beauty. These objects take many forms, from planes to submarines to cars to flying saucers and even flying carpets. An exhibition at London's Hayward Gallery brings some of Panamarenko's major works to London for the first time. Some pieces are modest in scale others, such as the Aeromodeller, are large enough to fill an entire gallery.
