This stamp commemorates the 150th birthday of the first postage stamp, the "Penny Black" (1840). The stamps were printed by letterpress with Adana 8-5 press by the Imperial Occussi-Ambeno Government Printing Office (KDPN), on mat white paper with invisible gum, and they are perf 12.
