Nobuo Fujino

Birthday: 8 May 1978

1.something about your background:

I was born in Kobe, Janpan, purely Japanese and used to go to musical school and TV model agency. I was age of 3,4. I started ballet when I was13, just for fun .I began to be  serious thinking about taking it for most part of my life . Then I won the scholarship in a competition when I was 17 and moved to Australia. I graduated the Australian Ballet School in 1997 and since then, I'm with HK Ballet....

2.Being pro-dancer, what's most difficult? basic critoria?

I believe the most difficult part is taking a good care of body  after each time of dancing . Pro-dancer is required to qualify what's given by the company and have to be available all the time .However , we get injuries sometimes and allowed to have time off. If it happens too often, we might loose opportunities or get troubles.

3.How do you relax in spare time?

I have my girlfriend and dogs to fun with. Go out and sit in the sun, have a nice coffee.

4.Unforgettable experience?

It's always about making big mistakes, isn't it? Yes ,I fell over a few over a few times , but no big deal. The best memory is when I performed "Romeo & Juliet: with my girlfriend, before we got together. I was so excited and it was so hard to  remember the steps because I was losing my mind.

5.Who do you most admire?

Mikhail Barishnikov  &  Eriko Ochiai

6.Have you been to HK before?

Never .before I joined the company. I never even thought about I would live here.
