Here are some pictures of unfinished paintings I am currently working on.
My drawings usually start with a pencil drawing from a fashion magazine. Then I use my imagination to add, flowers, leaves and little mushrooms to give her an "out of this world" look.
This is a picture I took of a self portrait I was working on. I always start with the skin tones of the character, even though most other artists will tell you to start with the background in stead.
 Here is an early shot of "Decay" as a work in progress. You can clearly see the gold highlights of the paint from this angle.
