Because of our climate, we have many residents (including some of our band members) who reside in the Phoenix area during only the winter months.
As a result, the Performance Season for the full Renaissance Brass Band is limited to the September through May months.
Fortunately, during the Summer, the band is by no means inactive in that we have a very busy smaller group which performs all kinds of interesting sextet, septet, octet type musical arrangements from the pens of contemporary composers/arrangers such as Adrian Drover and Mark Freeh as well as the more traditional arrangements from the Salvation Army's N.Y. Sextet and Eastern Region Series.
The full band is available for bookings from early September through late May, while the smaller group can be booked all year round.
