PYGMY GOATS

After 20 years we have made the tough decision to no longer breed pygmy goats. The last of our pygmy does left in June 2009. We were very active with NPGA for most of the 20 years we were members. My 5 children all showed the goats in 4-H and we participated in many many shows. We also had our fair share of championships. I tried to breed a quality pygmy with longevity and few kidding problems. For the most part I feel I succeeded. Despite our love of the breed, we have made that long hard decision to stop breeding them. I will keep a few pets, and thats it. Our focus now is on our nigerian dwarf goats and lamanchas. I have decided to list here some of our most favorite pygmies, as well as champion goats we owned/bred.
