The Splendor of the Southwest

The splendor of the Southwest is it's magnificent pottery! It is different. It's beautiful, but functional. And, it's unique-- There is nothing like it anywhere else in the world!

Illustrated, is the wedding vase. It is double spouted vessel used in the Indian wedding ceremony. The two spouts represents the bride and the groom. The bowl symbolized their coming together for fertility and prosperity. It is traditionally used only once, in the wedding ceremony.
