He was given authority over every tribe, people, launguage, and nation . All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast---all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world."---Revelation 13:5-8
A man named Maitreya has been appearing all over the world performing miracles and other wonders. Many people really believe this man is the messiah. A group called Share International has a lot of information on what this guy has been doing and on what he is saying. He is saying that he is God. The way he talks sounds alot like Christianity, except that he boldly states that Jesus is not the Son of God, And that he himself is God.
Make no mistake
this man may be "the mouth that was given to the beast to utter proud words". There will be many "antichrists" (the definition of antichrist is 'anyone who does not believe that Jesus is the Christ,the son of God'. However, one man will be given power by the nations of the world (commonly called THE antichrist).
This man will claim to be God. Do not be decieved! Jesus warned us that this would happen, when he told John what to right down on the book of Revelation.
