I’m disappointed:
On the top 99 of ’99, I was “pissed.” This time I’m not. I’m just disappointed—mostly over the fact that I KNEW I would be disappointed by the countdown. It just plain sucks. It’s freaking long, WAY too long, and the order at times simply baffles me. Apparently the summer starts in April or something, because that’s when DMX’s “Party Up” was mainly on. And “The Bad Touch” lasted throughout April and May too. For me, the summer starts in June. But, oh well. And, I’m a HUGE fan of Blink-182, but they certainly weren’t showed enough to get the 15 spot.
Don’t even get me started on Kid Rock. Or on BBMak.
If you noticed, Dave kept saying how BSB’s video was only #1 three times. At first I was pissed off that they were wrong (‘cause BSB had five #1’s), but then I realized it’s because they taped this special before it was retired and didn’t know they’d go out on top. Shoulda been more careful.
P.S. I know some of you didn’t believe me when I said that this was taped before today, but you had to have seen the commercials—they showed clips straight out of the show. Anyway, my friend WAS there—it was about two weeks ago. He asked Mandy Moore out. She said something about him being sweet. Let me tell you how funny that story was.
