*5 Hours Later*
I flipped over and opened my eyes, realizing I was in my bunk, or someone's bunk. I knew I wasn't in the entertainment room anymore. But, how did I get in a bunk? I sat up and jumped out of the bunk, and knew that it was mine. I walked down the hallway alone, and knocked on the entertainment room door, not even knowing what time it was. It took a few minutes, but the door finally opened. I saw three girls, Cher, Marce and Joey. No guys, and no Dare.
"What's going on... what time is it... where are we... and how did I get in my bunk?" I had a series of questions. They all smiled.
"Well... we're in here because we're worried about Dare." Joey told me, as I sat beside her.
"And it's... almost 7am." Cher smiled, reading her watch.
"7am!!!" I screamed, "I slept for that long?" I asked.
Marce nodded and said, "You fell asleep on Fox around 1am and he carried you to your bunk when we were going to bed. But we've been up since about 5am..."
"Dare's acting really weird, but she says she doesn't wanna talk about it." Joey said.
"Yeah... oh, and Jamal just told us we're about twenty minutes from Atlanta." Marce finished.
"Ok... so about Dare... it's got something to do with Kent, I know that... I'll go try to talk to her, where is she?" I asked them.
"In her bunk. She didn't sleep at all..." Cher sighed.
"Ok thanks... I'll go see her..." I said and then left.
There was nothing on my mind, except for Dare. I knew she'd tell me what was wrong. Just as I walked down the hallway to the bunks, I was stopped by someone's voice.
"There you are... I just looked in your bunk and you weren't there... c'mere baby." It was Fox, of course. I sighed and turned around. I gave him a hug, but he knew there was something wrong. "What's wrong, Fay? You feel all tense." he told me right away.
"I don't know, I really need to talk to Dare, right now..." I said, without looking at him. I didn't wanna look in his eyes. Then he'd make me kiss him. And I knew that Dare had to come first.
"C'mon, give me a morning kiss, baby." he said in a sexy voice. But he was joking. I pushed him back a bit, when he leaned in.
"I'm sorry, I have to talk to Dare first. I'll come see you when I'm done, ok?" I asked him. With a slight sigh, he nodded, turned around, and walked back to the front of the bus.
Then I contined my walk to Dare's bunk. I stood infront of it for a minute, before I did anything. I didn't know if maybe she was sleeping now.
"Dare... you awake?" I whispered. Nothing. Just as I was gonna go, and leave her alone for now, I heard,
"Of course, I couldn't even sleep if I wanted to."
"Oh... Dare, are you ok? Can I come in?" I asked. She flung up the curtain. I jumped up into the bunk, and just sat beside her, not knowing how to start.
"I know what you want to know... what the hell is wrong is me, right?" she asked, almost in a whispered. I nodded and said,
"The girls are worried, they said you were acting weird and you wouldn't tell them what was wrong."
"That's right... I wouldn't... I don't want to talk about it... about him." she mumbled, almost so I couldn't hear her. But I did.
"Kent, right? What'd he do to you?" I asked right away.
"No, nothing. Well... I called him earlier, right before the show, and he was acting really, really weird... and we were only talking for a minute, and he said he had to go... and he didn't even say he loved me." she said sadly. But she wasn't going to cry. "Then, I called him again, right after we came off stage, and, get this, a chick answered his cell and said he was busy." she told me. She was way to angry to be sad.
"You... you think he's cheating on you?" I asked her. She nodded.
"Yeah... I can't believe him, you know? How many times he said he loved him, and that he wanted to be with me forever. Why the hell would he say that if he didn't mean it?" she asked me, knowing that I couldn't tell her the answer. "He said he 'supported' me, and that we'd be ok... fuck man, I can't believe this." she said, keeping her voice quiet.
"Well, you don't know the truth yet... you need to ask him about it, you know? Don't jump to conclusions." I said. It was the only thing I could think of. She nodded slightly, knowing I was right.
"Fine... but... man, I don't even know what to do. What do I say to him?" she asked. I took a deep breath. Here I am, in a perfect relationship, and my best friend has to worry about her boyfriend cheating on her.
"Well, I think, you should just call and ask him about it. Ask him why a chick answered his cell, and why he was acting weird. I don't think he'll lie to you." I told her.
"Thanks... Fay, you're the best... can I-" she started, but I knew what she was gonna ask for.
"I'll go get my cell." I finished her sentence. Before I left, she hugged me really hard and said,
"Tell the girls I'm sorry for acting bitchy, and tell them about this, ok? I'll let you know after I talk to him."
I nodded and jumped out of her bunk. Then I ran to mine, found my cell, and ran back to her. I gave her the cell, said "good luck" and then went to the front of the bus where I figured Fox and his brothers would be. But when I got there, only Fox was there, sitting alone. He held a small note pad and a pen, but he was staring out the window.
"Hey sexy, can I sit down?" I asked him. He turned his head to look at me, and, of course, nodded. I pulled up a chair beside him and sat down. "What 'cha doing?" I asked him.
"Thinking." he replied plainly, staring at the notepad.
"What about?" I asked him again.
"You..." he said. "I still can't believe you're my girlfriend... it's seriously like my fantasy came true... and I love you so much, my heart hurts." he smiled. It was a gorgeous smile. I just about melted.
"Oh Foxy... you are so sweet, I love you too, you know that." I told him.
Then I leaned in and kissed his big, soft lips. I ran my hand through his short, soft hair, as he deepened the kiss. Not wanting to stop, I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him even closer. He pulled his lips back, and immediately began kissing and sucking on my neck, roughly. My brain was telling me we had to stop, but my lips and hands weren't listening. I put my hands up the back of his shirt and rubbed his back. His lips touched mine again and he slipped his tounge in my mouth once again.
It had only been about three minutes of that, but I knew it was time to stop. We couldn't do anymore than that, at least not in the kitchen of our bus. I pulled back and just stared into his eyes.
"Are you gonna tell me we have to stop again?" he asked, still out of breath. I nodded.
"We're gonna be in Atlanta soon, and I still have to go talk to the girls again..." I told him, standing up.
"Fine... but I have one question for you before you leave me." he said.
"Ok, what?" I asked.
"What's yours?" he asked.
"What's mine, what?" I asked, confused.
"Your wildest fantasy... from the game last night." he told me.
"Oh, that. You'll find out soon enough." I flirted. He looked at me, shocked. But then he grinned. "Bye, baby, I'll see you in a few minutes." I finished, and then started walking to the very front of the bus. I stopped and stood behind Jeffery. I looked out the huge window and saw houses, tons of houses. It looked like we were finally in a city again.
"Hey, Fay..." Jeffery said, looking at me out of the corner of his eye.
"Hey Jeffery, are we in Atlanta?" I asked him. He nodded.
"Yup, we'll be stopping at a gas station in five minutes." he replied.
"Alright, thanks." I finished. Then I turned and went back to the back of the bus. When I passed the kitchen area again, Fox was gone. I kept walking slowly. As I past the bunks, I heard Luke's Sisqo cd playing in his bunk, and Tony was watching TV in his, I could tell. When I got to Dare's, though, I heard nothing. I just kept walking, and went to the entertainment room. The door was open, and all three girls were still in it, alone.
"Did you talk to her? What happened?" Joey yelled suddenly.
"Yeah... uh, she thinks Kent might be cheating on her, that's why she was acting weird. But she doesn't know yet, so don't make a big deal about it." I told them. They all nodded.
"Poor Dare..." Cher mumbled. I nodded again, but then I remembed that we'd be stopping soon. Very soon.
"Oh, yeah, I can't seem to find Jamal, Jimmy or Trevor anywhere, but I talked to Jeffery, and he said that we'll be stopping at a gas station in five minutes." I told them. But they were all ready already. I was still wearing the same clothes as the day before. "I'm going to go change and do my hair." I finished.
"Ok, see you in a few minutes." Marce said, as I left the room.
