Chapter Thirty-Five:
No Way

"Hey buddy!" Joey yelled, hugging Aaron for the second time.

"Hey Joe! I'm so glad you're here! Don't you have your bathing suits?" Aaron asked, looking at all of us.

"No, we don't. We just came to see if you guys were still here." Joey replied sadly. She wanted to go in and have fun with Aaron.

"Oh, that's ok. I'm... I'm done in the pools anyway. Wanna go over there and hang out?" he asked Joey, pointing to a set of empty picnic tables. She nodded. "Oh yeah... are you girls coming to our party on Tuesday, in Santa Barbara? Well, it's my party, but Nick is inviting all his friends!" Aaron asked us excitedly. His family had a house in Santa Barbara, California. That's where we'll be on Tuesday, when we have another day off.

"Um sure, if we're invited." Marce replied pretty quickly. He and Nick nodded.

"Of course, I was just going to invite ya'll." Nick laughed.

"Ok, cool. That'll be awesome!" Dare said.

"Yeah, it's going to be in my house! My sisters will be there and everything!" Aaron yelled.

"Ok, buddy, we'll talk more about it later." Nick told his little brother. Aaron nodded. Then he said goodbye to the fans, and then he and Joey left us alone with Nick.

"Girls... is it ok if I hang out with my friends now?" Nick asked the fans. There was only about ten now. A few of them gave us dirty looks, but the rest just nodded and said 'bye' to him. When they were all gone, Nick turned back to us and smiled. Then he pulled Cher into a hug. But he was looking at me. "Hey Cher... how you doing today?" he asked her. She shrugged at him.

"Ok. The song is done, it's awesome!" she ended up smiling, as she spoke about our newly-recorded song. He grinned again.

"That's wicked, I'm so proud of you... all of you. Before you know it, you'll be huge, bigger than us!" he laughed, exagerating a bit.

"Yeah right, not in this lifetime." Marce said jokingly.

"Ha... so you girls don't have bathing suits, huh?" he asked the same question that his brother just asked us. We all shook our heads "no". "That sucks! I wanna see ya'll in bikinis!" he joked, still smiling at me. I let out a laugh.

"And who says we wear bikinis?" I asked him, still laughing.

"It's just a guess. Ya'll have great bodies." he told us, running his hand up and down Cher's back. She kind of pulled away, but didn't make it too obvious. But I noticed, and so did Nick.

"Thanks, Nick... now do you know where my boyfriend is?" I asked him.

"He was with Brian and Kevin not too long ago." Nick said plainly, not telling me where.

"Ok, where were they?" I asked again.

"Around. Sorry, I'm not sure." he apoligized.

"That's ok. I'll go look for him." I replied. Then I gave him once last smile, and walked away from them.

*2 Hours Later*

"Fox! Get out of the pool and come hang out with me!" I screamed to my boyfriend, who refused to get out of the huge swimming pools. We were still at the water park.

"No way, it's not my fault you didn't bring your bathing suit! If you did, you'd be in here, having fun with me!" he yelled back, with a smile.

"I wish I was." I said under my breath. He didn't hear.

I hadn't seen anyone else much today. Fox was fooling around with Luke, Howie and Brian. Kevin was sitting next to me, but he wasn't talking much. I knew he missed his wife alot. AJ and Nick were with Cher, Dare and Marce, just hanging out. Joey was still with Aaron. Tony was not around. I wondered where he was, but didn't make the effort to find out. I guess he was drooling over Christina Aguilera. The guys from Rowdy didn't come to the water park, they had an important meeting with their record company all day. Oh yeah, they were a Canadian group, from Winnipeg, so while they were here, they were visting friends and family, also. We didn't see them all day.

"God, I wish that boy would come over here and kiss me..." I mumbled to myself, not thinking anyone could hear.

"You and your boyfriend are really cute together." Kevin whispered. I looked at him, shocked.

"What?" I asked.

"You and Fox, you're really cute." he repeated.

"Oh, thanks." I smiled at him. "He's too busy for me right now, though. Man, he doesn't realize that I want to kiss him." I giggled.

"Well... Kristin wishes I could just go home and be with her for more than a week, you know? I won't be home until the end of August. I mean, she'll come on tour next month, for a few weeks, but it's not the same." Kevin told me. I nodded.

"Must suck sometimes." I said, "but at least you know you'll always be together." I finished. All Kevin could do was nod.

I liked talking to Kevin. It didn't matter that he was twelve years older than me. He was an awesome listener, and he loved to talk, too.

*Another Hour Later*

We finally left the water park at about 5pm. We decided not to go out for a group dinner tonight, we'd go out seperately. I wasn't hungry at all. Fox and I were in his bunk on the bus. I wasn't mad at him, I just wish he would've realized how badly I wanted to kiss him earlier.

Without a word, Fox leaned really close and pressed his lips on mine. I immediately pushed him back. I wasn't sure why, and neither was he. I'd never really pushed him away like that before.

"What's wrong, baby?" he asked, worried.

"N-nothing. I just don't feel like kissing right now." I told him, looking right in his eyes. I still felt that same awesome feeling when I looked into his eyes.

"What? You don't feel like kissing? What's up with that?" he asked, wrapping his arms tighter around my body. I shrugged.

"I don't know. I just don't." I told him.

"Are you mad at me?" he wondered. "Oh man, is it because I wouldn't get out of the pool?" he asked again.

"No, I'm not mad at you. I just really wanted to kiss you earlier, and you were too busy having fun." I said sadly.

"I'll never be too busy for you. I love you." he said, making me smile again.

"Thanks, I love you too." I told him, and leaned in then. I kissed his lips once.

"I thought you didn't feel like kissing?" he asked cutely.

"I don't." I replied. "Let's just... watch TV." I said. I flicked on the TV to Much Music, a Canadian music channel. Suddenly I remembered about Nick and Aaron's party. I don't think Fox, Luke and Tony were invited. Actually, I knew they weren't. "Hey Fox?" I asked, after a few minutes.

"Uh huh?" he asked, looking down at me again.

"You don't mind if I go to a party at Aaron's house on Tuesday, do you? You'll probably want some time alone by then, anyway." I said.

"What? Who's all going?" he asked defensively.

"I don't know. Aaron invited us. I think just the BSB and some of their friends." I replied. Fox took a deep breath.

"There's no way you're going to a party with all guys, alone, without me!" he practically screamed. I sat up and looked at him.

"What? You can't tell me what to do! I'll go if I want to go!" I replied, getting upset.

"You just asked me if I minded, and yes, I mind!" he yelled again, taking his arms off me.

"Well, I don't care if you mind! I'm go to a party with my friends, without you, on Tuesday!" I yelled. Why the hell were we making such a big deal out of this?

"Fine, I don't fricken care!" he finished.

"Fine!" I said, and jumped out of his bunk without looking back.

That was our first fight. Man, I hate fights. But who was he to tell me if I can go to a party or not? Well, he's my boyfriend, that's what. I made too big a deal about this, so did he. I felt like I wanted to tear something apart, I was so mad. But I just crawled into my bunk and cried.
