Chapter Forty-Seven:
Dream Come True

*Almost 2 Hours Later; 4:45pm*

"Alright, girls, thanks so much for hanging out with me today, everyone in Jackson is excited for you. And we're so proud of you."

Tanner told us, making us all a bit sad. That meant that the interview was almost done.

"Thank you so much, Tanner, and thanks to everyone for your support!" Marce said happily.

"Yeah, go buy the single today, if you can! We'd really appreciate it!" Dare agreed.

"Alright, the single is called Here To Stay and this is Cruel Sensation, as if you didn't already know that!" Tanner laughed. "We have to go, but what are we doing right now?" Tanner asked us. Joey grinned and replied,

"Playing Here To Stay!"

"That's right. And I hope everyone out there has tickets to the show tonight, it's going to be hot! Here is Here To Stay by Cruel Sensation." Tanner introduced our song, and flicked the "on air" button off. We were done.

We sat quietly and listened to the song. We had tried to make it so perfect when we recorded it, yet now that we were listening to it, we could still pick out mistakes. But it was such an adreniline rush, hearing us, just five best friends who love to sing, on our local radio station.

After the song finished, we were all still kind of in a daze. We all blinked out of it when we heard Tanner say,

"Again, thanks so much for taking the time to come see me again."

"We couldn't wait to come back here! We missed Jackson so much!" Joey replied.

"Yeah... are you coming to the show tonight?" I asked him curiously.

"Of course, I wouldn't miss it for the world." he finished.

Trevor and Jimmy came in the room a minute later. We all stood up and hugged them both so hard. We all knew that we wouldn't be where we are without them, and we'd never forget that.

"Ok girls, you ready to go?" Trevor asked us.

"The bus is waiting outside, you have about five minutes to talk with fans, and then you can have a few minutes to talk to your friends. Then we've gotta get back to the arena." Jimmy said quickly.

"Yep, let's go!" Marce yelled, and hugged Tanner for the last time.

"Bye Tanner! Thanks for everything, and hopefully see you tonight!" Dare smiled at him. He nodded, and hugged the rest of us again.

We left there at five to 5pm. We got downstairs and went back outside. I mean, the fans weren't crazy like they were for BSB and Aaron, but it was pretty cool. A group of young girls were singing Here To Stay. A few young boys asked for our autographs, and of course, we did. At just after 5pm, we went back over to where the bus was parked, in a blocked off area.

Jeffery opened the door and our five friends, and Luke, Tony and Fox, ran off the bus and into our arms. I hugged Fox so tight and then kissed his soft lips.

"Wow, that's weird to see." Doug laughed, meaning me and Fox. He knew we were together, but they hadn't seen us kissing before.

"Yeah, we've never see you two kissing before." Finch agreed, laughing.

"You'll get used to it. They do it alot." Luke teased.

We took the next ten minutes just talking with our friends. They pulled out the singles, and we just stared at them, in shock. It was so weird. Seeing us on the front of a cd, that is out in our country, the USA.

"Joey looks like a goof!" Cher teased her, grabbing one of the copies. Joey, like usual, had her mouth open and her tounge sticking out. She looked cute, though.

"I think you look cute, Joe." Finch told her. She blushed and then smiled.

"Thanks." she replied. Inside, she was screaming. That was her face. This was her dream, which has finally come true.

"Sorry to interupt, girls, but we've got to get back to the arena. It's twenty after 5pm now." Trevor hurried us.

"Ok... see you at the show tonight, right? You have front row seats?" Marce asked them. They all nodded.

"Of course. We were the first in line." Doug told us. That made us feel so good.

"Awesome, we've really gotta go..." Joey said sadly.

"Ok, we'll let you go then... call us... we'll be at Doug's until like 7pm." Miranda told us. We nodded and hugged them all again.

"We'll call when we're backstage before the show. We have like two hours." Cher laughed.

Then we all jumped onto the bus and waved as Jeffery closed the door. We were sad for a few minutes, but it kind of passed as we got wrapped up in the excitement again.

We got back to the arena just after 5:30pm. I grabbed Fox's hand and decided I wasn't going to let go for the rest of the night. We went backstage to our dressing room for only a few minutes, but decided we were too hyper to sit around and do nothing. Everyone else was back at the arena within half an hour. Everyone said they listened to our interview earlier and everyone was congradulating us again. We just felt so special. We were like the centre of attention! Again, that was our dream come true. For once, we wanted people to really pay attention to us, as corny as that might sound. And now they were. Jane took Aaron and Leslie to the mall earlier also, and they bought the single. And practically everyone else had it too. It was so crazy.

"You know that this show is going to be so awesome?!" Joey yelled to everyone.

"Maybe for you girls. But when you get off the stage, we have to go on. And no one is going to want to listen to us. Today is your day." Fuller told us with a smile. He was right, this was our day.

"Yeah, the fans are going to be chanting your names all night!" Aaron laughed cutely.

"Well, let's not push it." Joey finished, messing up Aaron's hair. Aaron squealed and Joey took off running, with Aaron not far behind her. The rest of us laughed as the two immature kids ran around backstage, yelling and screaming like best friends. Hell, they were best friends.

*7pm That Evening*

"Let's go do the warm up!"

Joey screamed, grabbing my hand. I was holding Fox's hand with my other hand. I didn't want to leave Fox. We had a seperate warm up from the guys. They danced, we sung.

"I don't want to leave Fox." I stated plainly, pulling away from Joey. She gave me a sad look.

"Come on, you two have all night together. Please Fay?" Joey practically begged. I sighed and stood up.

"Alright, you're right. Sorry Joe." I replied. Then I leaned back and kissed Fox's lips quickly. "Love you baby, see you in a few minutes." I told him and then left the dressing room with Joey.

We ran over to where Cher, Marce and Dare were already waiting for us.

"I'm so excited! Kenny, Trey, Ash and Aranka are all here!" Dare yelled, peeking out into the crowd. There was a ton of people already, it we still had an hour before we went on.

"And Dougie, Finch, Miranda, Katie and Cathrine are all here, too!" Cher yelled, also seeing our other friends.

"It's going to be weird, actually performing for people who know who we are!" I said, thinking about it. "It's like a dream come true, you know?" I asked. All the girls agreed with me.

*45 Minutes Later*

"Joey, are you going to introduce me to your friends after the show?"

Aaron asked Joey, as he peeked his blonde head out to find our friends. He didn't know which ones we meant.

"Of course. At the autograph signing, they'll love to meet you." Joey replied. Aaron just grinned.

"Hey, we were in my hometown, and now we're in yours... too bad we don't have an extra day here, so I could go to you house..." Aaron smiled cutely. Joey nodded.

"Yeah, that'd be cool. Maybe next time we're here." she replied. Aaron nodded back.

"Where are we going tomorrow?" he asked her, still not knowing the schedule at all.

"Memphis, Tennessesee." Joey replied knowingly. She'd practically memorized the whole thing. Aaron just giggled at her.

"Cruel Sensation, you're on in five minutes!" a backstage guy yelled to us.

The five of us, our dancers, and Aaron, were hanging out together. We couldn't wait to get onstage.

Before I knew it, we were rushed onto the stage. I was holding Fox's hand, as he stood behind me. The live music began. I took a deep breath as I heard that annoying guy's voice over the speakers saying,

"Welcome to the hottest tour of the summer! I'm sure you all know who the opening act of the tour is, but just incase you forgot, here is Jackson's own, Cruel Sensation!"

Then the lights shot on and Joey screamed,

"Hello Jackson! We love you so much, and we want to thank you for all your support!"

The screaming of the fans got louder. And louder, and louder.

"I hope you all got the single today, it's called Here To Stay... and here it is!" Cher yelled, as the music for the song started.

I smiled down at all our friends in the front row quickly, before concentrating on the song. Yes, this is defintely a dream come true.
