September 9th, 2002:

Hello. Woah, it's been so long since I've had some news on these boys. Well, Kevin is moving to Toronto and is doing fairly well in the entertainment business. He is going on tour with the cast of the Hot Sensational Musical, "MAMA MIA." It begins October 1, 2002 and will run week long at the Royal Alexandra Theatre. For ticket information call 1-800-461-3333, and for general information visit www.mirvish.com. Come and see his grand performance in Toronto, Canada! As for the others? Well, Flashlight (AKA Flash) has joined a new singing/rapping group called i-15! This trio includes the members Jas, Castro, and (of course) Flash. Their style is an innovative fusion of hip-hop and R&B, a sound that's young and not too old. They have the "afterschool special" morals like YA such as the "stay in school" and "follow your dreams" spiel. You can listen to some of their music on their website! Go to http://i-15music.com.

Kevin gets to be supported by his Y.A. fans and you (the people) get to see Kevin and an entertaining show. How could you loose? This thing sounds shnazy, so go and watch him, all you Vancouver fans!

Today we have discovered that Youth Asylum has broken up. We found out on a Youth Asylum message board that Leo, Donnell, and Flashlight have gone solo. We wish them success and happiness to all of them in the near future. We are not sure what will happen next with them, but if we find out anymore details, we will report more news on them here ASAP. Oh yeah, if there are any Canadian fans or any that live near Canada, Kevin is doing some dance shows in Vancouver. You could visit his website on KSYonline for more details on the shows. Please come and go to his shows! He needs all the fans' support!

July 5th, 2001:

Recently, there have been some rumors about Flashlight going solo, but (thankfully) they are NOT TRUE. Flashlight is not going to go solo because he is very dedicated to his boys. Youth Asylum has been getting a lot of record deal offers, but they are just taking their time into finding which company is best for them, so do not get too worried about them.

May 26th, 2001:

Today, Leo performed in the musical interpretation of A.C. Clarke's novel "2001:A Space Oddity" at Topanga Canyon, CA as the part of Ground Control. It was an amazing humorous performance.

We have found out some more info on the Qwest Records and Youth Asylum story below. Youth Asylum DID NOT get dropped from Qwest Records. Youth Asylum are actually thinking about changing record labels from Qwest Records because Qwest Records shut down and they were not really promoting them too much. Youth Asylum's album was supposed to come out last year, but that never happened. Us fans, just need to stick together and support Youth Asylum's decision, so when they do find a new label, we'll still be there to cheer them on.

On the Youth Asylum message boards, Mandi and I have discovered that Youth Asylum has been dropped from Qwest Records. There is no news of what will happen to Youth Asylum and their new album "We Are Young Americans". I am not positively sure if this is a rumor or not, but if I find out any new info on this, I will immediately post it. There were also rumors that the band had broken up, but that is not true because Kevin e-mailed someone saying that they did not.
