Michiru is a very talented scout who can swim, paint and play the viloin. She has a love for the arts and is very elegant. She discovered Haruka and both of them started out searching for the three Talismen, one of which is in her. She later joins the Inner Scouts, along with Uranus and Pluto. She helps protect the Princess of the Moon and later helps raise Hotaru, who calls her "mommy". Michiru is a very nice person and cares for Haruka.
