The season is almost ready to start up, and the Reach for the Top team at MRSS is ready to go. Our goal is the Provincials, and possibly the Nationals for our senior team(s), and our Junior teams are forming with the arrival of the new grade 8's to our school. We are hoping to spend more time strengthening our teams through making up questions and focusing on certain subjects.

Unofficial practices have started here at Ridge, and we will hopefully have about three senior teams and one junior team. District tournaments are to start in the next few months, and are going to be a lot of fun, with Pitt, Meadowridge, and possibly Hatzic this year. Westview, Garibaldi, and Thomas Haney schools are always welcome to get in touch with the district head at MRSS to play with us as well. The more the merrier!
November 1999
Our first district competition was November 16, with Meadowridge's junior and senior team, Pitt Meadows' two junior teams, and Ridge's two senior and one junior team. For our school, it was interesting to experiment with different combinations of players. It was good to see so many new faces out to compete! Official practices began November 8th, and we hope to have our next district tournament in January, after the holidays.
