James Ryle has served in the pastoral ministry since 1974. He is the author of the two best selling books 'Hippo in the Garden' and 'A Dream Come True'. James is one of the founding members of the Promise Keepers Board of Directors and has been substantially involved in providing spiritual direction in this national movement. He has spoken at several PK stadium events across the country. On October 4th, 1997 in Washington D.C., James delivered the Gospel message at Stand In The Gap - a event attended by well over one million men, and broadcast to over 20 different nations around the world. In addition to his extensive travels throughout the U.S. and Europe, James has also served as the chaplain for the University of Colorado football teams since 1989. After seventeen years of service as the senior Pastor of Vine Life Community Church in Boulder Colorado, James resigned to devote his full attention to the ministry of TruthWorks. James and his wife Belinda have four children and live in Colorado	Personal Testimony God Does Speak Learning To Listen Discovering How God Speaks Discovering The Voice Of The Lord There is absolutely no doubt that God does speak to us today. This is forever settled on the authority of God's word and validated by the testimonies of men and women throughout the centuries of Christian faith. The question is not 'Does God speak ?' but rather, 'Will we listen to what He is saying to us?' If we will, then every occasion of life becomes an opportunity to have a conversation with God. In this series, James shares insights from the scripture and highlights from his personal pilgrimage on learning to hear the voice of God.

Introduction to Worship and Dance Workshops:

The objectives are:

a) to give students an understanding of basic techniques correct placement and correct posture

b) to explore improvisation in dance as worship NO PREVIOUS DANCE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED !! Emma Hill is a dancer who has been taking ballet classes since the age of four. She has taken eight R.A.D. (Royal Academy of Dancing) examinations and three R.A.D. major examinations. She is currently working on her R.A.D. Advanced ballet and is enrolled in a three-year Teaching Certificate Program with R.A.D. She has been dancing in church meetings since the age of five and has a heart for worship in the church. Emma is currently apprenticing under Penny-Lea Hudson, A.R.A.D., in Gibsons, British Columbia. An Evening with Chuck Girard

Saturday October 9th 1999 at 7.30pm

Come and enjoy an evening of annointed worship with one of North America's music pioneers. Chuck Girard has played an enormous role in the development of contemporary music within the church. He was part of the hugely successful 70s band "Love Song" who broke new ground in causing the church to accept the music of a new generation. Girard is now a veteran of the music scene, but has lost none of his passion and desire for God. He concentrates mainly on worship music these days, and is an annointed leader. Come and see for yourself ! There will be no admission charge, but we will be taking an offering to cover costs and to bless Chuck.
