VCF we have a developing 'Worship and Arts'
department.
Artistically we are
established to bring glory to God and to allow people to
have the opportunity to creatively express their talents and
gifts in music, singing, dance, drama, poetry, songwriting,
banner-making and more. In worship we enjoy the fact that we
have talented musicians to lead us, but we are acutely aware
that our worship to God is not dependent in the slightest on
anyone's ability to play an instrument well nor in being
gifted as one who can lead the people to merely sing and
enjoy themselves. Our worship to God needs to be part of our
lifestyle - but when we gather together corporately we
acknowledge the fact that our worship is enhanced by the
musicians and leaders that we have and we enjoy the
opportunity to be expressive in that worship. Worship

Donley, Terry Nahirny, Bob Oldfield Our worship
each Sunday is led by either Michael, Terry or Bob along
with singers and musicians. Our style is contemporary and we
love the opportunity to bless God in what we do. The worship
teams here at VCF recently said 'goodbye' to team members
Erol and Krissy Bortucene who have moved on to Winnipeg to
be worship leaders at Gateway Christian Fellowship.The VCF
teams recorded a CD called 'If My People' in 1997. Still got
some copies left if you'd like one ! We rehearse on
Thursdays, and people drop in and out to get the feel of
being part of the team. The second Wednesday of each month
is our 'worship teams fellowship night' where we meet like a
housegroup and recieve teaching, ministry and exhortation as
well as expressing worship together and developing a feeling
of togetherness as a team.

Dance Teams Co-ordinator - Sandra Mather
Sandra coordinated all of the dance routines for the March for Jesus 1999 here in Vernon. The dance groups involved are made up of people from many of the fellowships from around town.This is a developing area of expression in our fellowship and in the city. Here at VCF Sandra is developing a group of dancers who actively participate in our worship times as well as provide us with dance items for our edification and enjoyment.
