There is such irony and conflict in asking this of a sixteen year old. Tell me a little bit about yourself. Write a biographical paragraph about yourself for me. If I knew any of what to write it would come out as a neverending stream of partiality and doubts, or it would be what was expected, a generic list of meaningless partial facts of parts of my life not necessarily all that signifigant. And if I could truly carry out these assignments, would the purpose be defeated? Would I have left these unsuspecting people, with what they felt was a simple, innocent inquiry, in some numbed state of shock and disbelief, and myself alone?
