My favorite movie of all time, put clearly on Favorite Movies
is the original Evil Dead. Bruce Campbell's first real acting role, he and his best friend Sam Raimi wrote, produced, directed, edited, and acted in the low-budget horror flick about a group of college kids that rented a cabin in the woods for the weekend. When they arrive at the cabin one of them find a tape recorder that has an ancient curse recorded on it. The kids play it and it awakes an evil dead force in the woods. One by one the kids are taken over and killed or turned into zombies. They're all taken until there's one guy left. Ash [Bruce Campbell] Now Ash must fight for his life and his soul. Hilarious special effects, fake looking blood, lots of screams, and painful looking moments fill the movie and just leave you lovin it. There are 2 sequals to the movie, Evil Dead 2, and Army Of Darkness. The second 2 are strictly comedy, the first one is kinda funny too, but you have to look at it in a comical way. If you rent none of my reviews, please rent this one, it's a classic. It's also the top selling movie in Europe of all time. Not bad for a movie made for about 2,000 dollars.
