Kasma Kennels is a small hobby breeder and exhibitor. My dogs live in my home, not a kennel and are a major part of my family. I am a member of the Canadian Kennel Club, Chinese Crested Club Of Canada (I am secretary/treasurer and editor of the club newsletter). About 1990 I was introduced to my first Chinese Crested and knew then and there that I had to have one of these delightful creatures in my life. It took me a few years to find just what I was looking for but it was worth the wait.

Temperament is of outmost concern for me as in my opinion, if you can not live with a dog, then it doesn't matter how structurally perfect that dog is it will never be able to be part of your family. I have puppies occasionaly and all my dogs are registered with the CKC and all pets are sold on a non-breeding agreement. The quality of my dogs is also very important to me, and I only breed dogs which I believe to be as close to the breed standard as they possibly can.

My dogs are my life and my human kids accuse me of loving my dogs more than them !! When I have a litter of puppies they are born in my bedroom and stay there until they are four weeks old, when they move to the kitchen so they can be exposed to everyday life as much as possible. All puppies are micro-chipped, have their shots up to date and come with a written health guarantee and a 5 generation pedigree.

Pedigrees, videos or photos of my dogs are available upon request. I keep a waiting list for my upcoming litters but do not take any deposits on puppies till the litter is acutally born and I know what I will have available. Once the puppies are born, I notify everyone on my waiting list and let them know all about my new babies. Then if you are interested in one of the puppies I take a deposit. No puppy leaves here till at least 9 weeks of age. If it is to be shipped a long distance than when I feel comfortable about shipping the puppy is when it leaves. I have shipped puppies for several years on the airlines with no problems and feel safe in doing so.

I like to keep in contact with my puppy buyers and am always here to answer any questions you may have about your new puppy and love to talk about my dogs with anyone who will listen. And I especially like to get pictures of your new baby throughout it's entire life.
