These extreme measures have been taken to prevent Muslims from gaining access and worshiping inside the Mosque. Abdul Kadir Burkatulla who is one of the trustees said the Mosque would remain closed for at least three months while it was cleaned of "physical and spiritual filth".

“The Mosques of Allah shall be visited and maintained by such as believe in Allah and the last day, establish the Salaah and pay the Zakah, and fear none except Allah. It is they who are expected to on true guidance.” (9:18)

How can those who stop the people from performing the Salaah and who fear the Kuffar more than they fear Allah be allowed to control the Mosques of Allah? Abu Hamza delivered the Khutbah from outside Finsbury Park Mosque this Friday and led over a hundred people in Salaatul-Jummah. Muslim brothers and sisters listened to the Khutbah next to police and local residents. The Khutbah was not only beneficial to Muslims but was also a source of Da’wa for the non-Muslims that were there.

Sheikh Abu Hamza said that it was Haram for a Imam to lead the prayer when the Jamaat did not want him as their Imam and he asked if they wanted to pray Salaatul-Jummah outside the Mosque again the next week to which everybody replied yes. We also have a petition which over a thousand people have signed in support of Sheikh Abu Hamza’s right to continue to preach at Finsbury Park Mosque following the charity commissions court case to stop him from preaching at the Mosque. If they win their case he maybe imprisoned. Why doesn’t the charity commission stop the naked corruption, which the trustees are engaged in instead of trying to stop us from practising our religion? Salaatul-Jummah cost the police tens of thousands of pounds to police and it will continue to cost them until we can pray inside the Mosque again Inshallah.

We would like to thank the brothers and sisters who came out to support the Haq and to show the Kuffar that Muslims will not be intimidated into abandoning each other and their religion. The disbelievers invaded a place of worship as they have invaded our lands and they wish to control our places of worship in the same way they have control over our lands. We may not have the ability to prevent our lands from falling into the hands of the likes of Karzai but Allah has given us the ability to protect the sovereignty of our Mosques and if we don’t act to do so what accuse will we have in the front of Allah.

The trustees have been imposed upon the community and have been a source of problems for years. They have not submitted any accounts for the past ten years and have had a free hand to do what they want. Recently two buildings belonging to the Mosque have been leased to a Hindu businessman against the wishes of the community. Information about the amount of money the buildings were leased for and what has happened to it has not been disclosed. The trustees have been allowed to plunder the assets of the Mosque in exchange for co-operation with the Kuffar.

Imam Imran has lead the prayers in Finsbury Park Mosque even before Sheikh Abu Hamza began preaching there. He was chosen by the trustees to lead the prayers and he was living at the Mosque when it was raided. But when the police raided the Mosque at 2:00am he was not there. Why wasn’t he at the Mosque when it was raided in the middle of the night? It is clear that the trustees must have had prior knowledge of the raid, which is how they were able to warn the Imam they had appointed to not be there when the police stormed the Mosque. The prior knowledge of the raid the police gave to the trustees has given them the opportunity to insert false evidence into the Mosque.

This police operation cost 1.5 million pounds to carry out, it involved the use of 150 police officers some armed and two police helicopters were also used. However the results of the raid were poor, the police said they had found an empty CS gas canister, an blank firing replica firearm, a stun gun and some fake documents. The two buildings next door to the Mosque were also searched in the raid despite the fact that the trustees had leased these buildings to a Hindu businessman who has had builders working in it for months. You can see these buildings covered in scaffolding next door to the Mosque in recent pictures of the raid. Were any of these items found there?

Further more these individual items can be brought in secretly and concealed in many places in the Mosque by anyone, as it is a public building. And how many if any of these “weapons” are illegal? This information has only been released to add to the media frenzy and is poor justification for such an expensive and large-scale operation.

However police played down the presence of “weapons” and said it wasn’t the reason they raided the Mosque. The police said they raided the Mosque because they wanted to arrest certain people and if that was the case then why weren’t there warrants out for their arrests before the Mosque was stormed. The police later cleared 5 of the people arrested with links to terrorism. Only one those arrested has been charged. The police never found rooms full of AK-47s and explosives as they hoped they would. They now have to build a case on what ever little they have to show to the world the operation was justified and a success.

We ask Muslims to make Dua for us so that Allah may preserve our Da’wa and our Mosque.
