The biggest issue of our time in what we are failing miserably at is group work. The ability to work in a group for the goal of attaining Islamic ways and means with regards to our living and worship. We have fallen into too many non-productive groups only wanting more recognition for the type of speeches and study circles we give. This attitude of 'let us rush to be seen, not neccessarily felt," is actually hurting us too much and causing further divisions, as well as ingorance. It is this type of ambitious and dangerous attitude that has splintered the brotherhood and unity of so many new Muslims, and yet no one has actually addressed this phenomena occuring within a few circles today. Our full strength and power will never be felt, so long as we play with Allah's deen for fame and fortune. The group work that has made the enemies of Islam the new Caliphate on earth was planned and carried out with extreme disregard to anyone individually or to any single group. If one studies World War I and World War II, the final outcome from enforcement of group work has ultimately led to the near breaking of Islamic movement. Today, we are witnessing a slight revival of the Islamic movement through various groups viligent in pushing home Allah's religion through group work, irregardless of their personal differences. This can be attributed to a sincerity of loving and hating for Allah's sake alone. And Allah S.W.T. says: "Help you one another in Al-Birr and At-Taqwa; but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is severe in punishment." Surah 5: (end of) ayat 2. At-Taqwa mentioned by Allah here means avoiding danger and disgrace from Allah with good actions in order to be saved in front of Allah. And then in Surah 8:73, Allah gives us both a warninig and advice with regards to being linked to group work: "And those who disbelieve are allies of another, (and) if you do not do so become allies, as one united block under one chief ruler to make victorious Allah's religion there will be great fitna and oppression on the earth, and a great mischief and corruption." When I was barely one year into my shahaada, I learned about takfir, without making salah properly. I didn't even know about the two eids, yet I knew that such and such a person was a kafir. I went on with my random behavior of making takfir, totally ignorant of the unseen and most important work carried out by a few groups, each of whom were entirely above takfiri. This group operated mostly out of Finsbury Park in London. A few brothers told me they were taking a vacation to help Muslims to the best of their ability, which would take them away for 6 months to one-year. I was trying to go and study in Syria with my wife and ran into problems getting a visa to enter the country. After hearing so much negativity, I decided to go and join these brothers who by now had already left. When some of them returned, I was very excited and was convinced that this is what Allah had planned for me. So I began asking a lot of questions. When the conversations of one sheikh in Finsbury Park began to arise, regarding his talks on humanitarian work in Afghanistan, I wanted to go and see him. The person I was receiving knowledge from made every effort to convince me that I would become salafi inclined, murji, or that my intentions may not be accepted because of grave worshipping if I did so and went to Afghanistan. All the while, I was hearing the complete opposite from those new in the deen and fired up about going to help their fellow Muslims establish Allah's way of life. So I started my own research campaign by asking many questions. After much investigaton, I was sorry to realize that the person I was studying under did not want me to go out of fear that I might join an effort that was more effective in terms of group work, than was his da'wah circles. Frankly, I had grown tired of study circles and wanted to participate in actually working for Allah, without so much talking about it. I also wanted to learn more about my religion and how to earn Allah's reward. Needless to say, I soon left this teacher and joined up with those who were working siletly, tolerating each other, loving one-another quietly and steadily. I told others about my experience who were learning from my former teacher and this is when the worst of my problems with this teacher began. The saga continues, even with a slander against our work at Supporters of Shariah, Support Muhajir and as individuals. I hope and pray to Allah that with the release of this issue, and by the help of Allah, that some of these issues will be brought to light, not for the purpose of exposing any one or group, but to promote positive group work and destruction of dangerous ideologies, as well as methodologies and behaviors. Your suggestions and assistance is welcomed to help with the larger group, which does not limit you to SoS, or our efforts. May Allah make it easy on us all to join his ranks as true workers for the deen, and to enjoin on us positive group work and effort to defeat the evil from our enemies. And may Allah make it easy on us to bring ourselves, our families and our communites closer to Him and one another for the purpose of worshipping, Him Allah Alone without any partners and caryying out the sunnah of His Rasoolullah (SAW). RIGHTEOUS SCHOLAR From the Preface of the book: In
Pursuit of Allah's Pleasure All praise is due to Allah. We praise Him and seek His assistance. We ask for His forgiveness and take refuge in Him from the evil within ourselves and from the evil of our deeds. He whom Allah guides will never be diverted, yet whomever He sends astray willnever find his way. I bear withness that there is no god, but Allah alone, He has not partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad (SAW) is His servant and messenger. On the authority of Abu Dardaa', the Messenger of Allah (SWT) said, "Verily, the scholars are the heirs of the Prophets." (Sahih by Ahmed, Abu Dawud and Ibn Maajah.) The righteous scholars are the heirs of the Prophets; Imams of the people after the Prophets; they guide and direct the people to Allah and teach them His Deen; and they have noble manners and praisworthy attributes. They are the scholars of the truth; scholars of guidance and successor to the Prophet; they fear Allah (SWT) much and are constantly checking their actions, and pay great importance to what He orders and forbids. They follow in the footsteps of the Prophets: in their teaching and instructing, their character and actions, their words and conduct and, as a result they suffer in the same way that the Prophets did. The righteous scholars suffer persecution and oppression, mockery and ridicule, torture and imprisonment and murder in the same way that the Prophets did. They speak and uphold the truth whereverthey go in order that the religion of Allah (SWT) may "be superior over all religions even though the disbelievers may detest it," (S9:33) and they pay for it dearly. On the authority of Anaz bin Malik, the Messenger of Allah (SWT): "Among the signs of the Hour will be the disappearance of knowledge and the appearance of ignorance." (Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim). Commentary by Al-Jihaad With the disappearance of knowledgable scholars who are slow to anger with Muslims and fierce with aggression towards the taghut, many new Mulsims find themselves attracted to speakers with beautiful speech. This is indeed one of the signs of the appearance of ignorance. All that can follow is walaa for the speaker and baraa on the commands of Allah and His Messenger (SAW). Instead of saying alhamdulillah for Allah, the "hamd" will be directed to the speaker. And this is the case with one speaker and those who have followed his personality, which is the basis for this issue of Al-Jihaad. Review the above very carefully. Notice where it clearly describes the personality of those who were given authority to succeed the Prophets (May Allah be pleased with them all) by the hadith, "Verily, the scholars are the heirs of the Prophets." (Sahih by Ahmed, Abu Dawud and Ibn Maajah). The following clearly outlines the attributes of the scholars, so there can be no confusion on who our scholars are and should be, for us to follow. Let us examine the first attribute and description of the scholars: "The righteous scholars are the heirs of the Prophets; Imams of the people after the Prophets; they guide and direct the people to Allah and teach them His Deen; and they have noble manners and praisworthy attributes." According to this noble description of our scholars, they are the first our "Imams", "heirs of the Prophets" whom they come after. They guide and direct, meaning they speak the commands of Allah, and they themselves assume responsiblity to shepard the people in the direction of Allah. And "they have noble manners and praiseworthy attributes", meaning they are slow to take Muslims outside the religion of Islam, and they speak slowly and carfully, always mindful to display good manners and behavior in all facets of worship and interaction with others. Does your scholar fit this description? Now let us examine the second attribute: They are the scholars of the truth; scholars of guidance and successor to the Prophet; they fear Allah (SWT) much and are constantly checking their actions, and pay great importance to what He orders and forbids. This means that the scholar speaks the truth, i.e. all that Allah and His Messenger have ordered even against his own wishes. The scholars hears and obeys, as the Prophets (AS) before did, and as the Rasoolullah (SAW) was instructed. The scholar speaks only on that which he is sure of, and remains silent on that which he has no knowledge of or is unsure about. The scholar fears Allah, fears to tell a lie against Allah by saying Allah or His Messenger (SAW) said something that was not said by Allah or His Messenger (SAW). The scholar is always mindful of his actions and is careful not to pass fatwas or to make statements that are contrary to Qu'ran and Sunnah. They will think, and it is reported that many scholars would sweat immensly before they passed a fatwa out of fear that they may make a mistake. Does this fit the description of your scholar? They follow in the footsteps of the Prophets: in their teaching and instructing, their character and actions, their words and conduct and, as a result they suffer in the same way that the Prophets did. The righteous scholars suffer persecution and oppression, mockery and ridicule, torture and imprisonment and murder in the same way that the Prophets did. Let us examine these attributes: The scholar follows "in the footsteps of the Prophets: in their teaching and instructing, their character and actions, their words and conduct..." This means that they do not engage in name calling, wasting of their time, partaking in causing Muslims to fight each other, teaching Muslims they must make takfir or become a kafir, twisting the verses the of Allah, and grow angry and haughty or arrogant when asked to explain statements of grave controversy, calling women apostates or making statements such as: 'it is said that some of these women have apostated." It is necessary to really check the character of the some speakers who have given themselves the title sheikh in order to be called a scholar by their audiences. It is important to refer to the sunnah of the Prophets (AS) and the Prophet Muhammed (SAW), in order to be sure that you are folowing those who were described and given the authority to be the Imams of the people. May Allah guide us all and have mercy on the righteous scholars. Ameen

AMBITIOUS
AND DANGEROUS What Happens When A Person Grows From Da'wah To Ambitious and Dangerous? It is very dangerous to mix ambition and piety. Likewise, it is very dangerous when a person with any knowledge forgets the source of the knowledge and wants only to be heard, while neglectig the more silent and most important duties. As Muslims striving in Allah's cause, we should have nothing to prove. So therefore our work should be felt, not necessarily heard. It is often those who speak the least, who have the least to prove, and we can learn the most from. And it those that we hear from the most that have the most to prove. Those who only want to be heard, but not felt usually have reverse agendas. This is the saying of one such person who teaches his students to pronounce takfir as if it will be the first item called to question at the time of your life expiration: "Also the scholars. Now the leaders are kafirs. The leaders who dismantle the shari'ah they are kafirs. Anybody have a problem with that? Anybody have a problem with that? I have just told you the ijmaa'a of Ibn Kathir and Ibn Taymiyyah. So you can't have a problem with that. My question to you. What about the scholars who cement the throne of apsotate leaders what do you call them? Kafirs. What's your evidence?" This speaker wants to brainwash his students with an incorrect understanding of Qur'anic verses. The speaker asks the question and follows immediately after with his own answer that is based solely on his own ijtihaad. He continues: "Okay Maidah 51. The evidence can be found in Maidah 51. If you give your walaa to anyone you become that, if you give your walaa to a jew, then you become a jew, walaa means allegiance, if you give your walaa to a christian you become a christian, if you give your walaa to an apostate, you become an apostate." Now that the speaker has answered his own question, he must make some sense out of it. Thus, the speaker attempts to use what sounds extremely convincing on the unlearned Muslim who is very eager to learn and understand. What follows is his explanation of the verse in Surat ulMaidah ayah 51, where Allah says: "Ya Ayyuh alladhina Amanu La tatakhidu Yahudu wan-Nasaara Ba'aduhum Awliyaa'u ba'd. Wa mayatawaalahum minkum fa innahu minhum. And in English means close to this: "O you who believe take not the Jews and and the Christians as Auliya, they are but Auliya of each other. And if any amongst you takes them (as Auliya), then surely, he is one of them. Verily Allah guides not those people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers and unjust)." The speaker continues to give his explanation: "Have you heard about the fatawa of Ibn Taymiyyah? Ibn Taymiyyah in volume 35 page 373, said anytime a scholar leaves off his knowledge and follows the ruler in a leadership that goes against Qu'ran and Sunnah, this scholar has become a kafir, an apostate and he deserves to be punished in both this life and in the hereafter. So anytime a scholar leaves off his knowledge and follows the corrupted leader, he himself has become a kafir deserving to be punished in this life and the hereafter...." This is where the speaker becomes takfiri and extremely dangerous, by preparing his students to make takfir by association based soley on his own jtihaad. He goes on to say this: "What about the students of Sheikhs like Bin Baz and Uthaymin, who go around all over the world and get paid from the Saudi regime, and they cement the throne of the leaders and say what the leaders are doing is a minor kufr are they kafirs as well? The salafi's I'm talking to more specificially. Are they kafirs as well? Now when Allah revealed Maidah(5):51, did Allah reveal Maidah(5):51 to scholars or to the layman? To the layman." The speaker has pronounced takfir on the leaders, the scholars, and he now wants to pronunce all students and laymen (ordinary individuals) kafirs, as well. The chain of takfir never ends and the speaker wants to link everyone to the acts of going outside the religion simply by association. It is important for ourselves to ask what is the evidences that this speaker brings and why is he making such a fatwa. The speaker explains to us further: "Why did Allah reveal the ayat? The Muslims lost the battle of Uhud, because they disobeyed the Prophet (SAW). When they were going back to Madina, one of them said, 'When I go back to Madina, I want a Christian as a friend, because if a calamity should befall us like today, at least I have the shoulders of a Christian to lean on.' The other one said, 'I want a jew for my friend because at if another calamity should befall us like today, at Uhud at least I have the shoulders of a jew to lean on.' These were laymen, ordinary men. When Allah heard this he said, 'O you who believe do not take Christians and Jews as friends, because they are friends of each other, and if you take them as friends then you have become one of them.' So Allah was speaking to the laymen, not scholars... a simple person that the moment you take kafirs friends, christians and jews you have become one of them. Now comes some seriously dangerous statements... So the saudi salafi's who are vehement and enthusiastic in cementing the throne of the apostate leaders, they have apsotated from al-Islam as well, and any woman who is co-habiting with them, she is guilty of committing zinner. She is guilty of what? Adultry. It is said that many of them have apostated as well in Brixton. But they were told not to live in that situation. These women are cursed. Because they are co-habiting with the men who are the enemies of Allah Ta'ala, Rasool and Islam. Another problem with the so-called jihadees, the fake jihadees found in Tooten and Finsbury Park, is they claim that a man can make tawil, tawil means interpretation (a false interpretation). A man can make tawil, even after you give him the evidence. The huja'a. What do they claim? A man is allowed to make a dodgy interpretaiton even after you give him the the evidence. Now what's the most famous tawil in Islamic history, was that Women who slept with her slave boy. And when Umar (RA) was getting ready to stone her to death, she said to Umar (RA), Muslim men are allowed to sleep with their slave girls, so I sleep with my slave boy, he is my right hand possess. She was making what? tawil." Here the speaker has used one tafsir or explanation of the verse, which is correct, but applied in the wrong manner. This is easily done by anyone who has enough ambition. Thus the speaker has now effectively confused his audience and they are further convinced of his statements. How can anyone argue with this tafsir? The correct understanding of this ayat is the following: Allah said do not take the Christians and Jews as Auliya, which means allies, not friends. Auliya is different from asdeqaa which means in Arabic, friends. To take anyone outside the religion as close friends is haraam, but Auliya is kufr. Let us understand this issue further. Ibn Taymiyyah said in another fatwa, "Anytime you are under ta'wil you are still exempt from takfir."(See Majmua Fatawa Vol. 14.) Ta'wil is the act of self-interpreting. The person you bring evidence to may not be reject evidence you bring to him. However, they may reject you, your sheikh or your method of delivery. It is not your hujja'a that you establish on the person, it is Allah's hujja'a. Ibn Taymiyyah was given da'wah to the Asha'ari nearly 20 years and he still did not pronounce takfir on all of them. People still gave Salahudiin Ayubi da'wah without pronouncing him a kafir, or even, Abdul Qaadir Al-Jazi'ria (a famous Mujahid sufi asha'ari from Algeria). Not everyone who is deviant with some acts is a kafir. Ahmed Ibn Hanbal prayed behind some Mu'tazla imams and not others. And he said, "it is the difference between someone who is doing kufr and knows its kufr and the one who is saying kufr and he doesn't know it is kufr." For example if you go to a certain school you will come out with that certain madhab. Does this madhab make you a kafir, if you are convinced of its teachings, although it is deviant. You must observe the reality. "Once a sahaabi came weeping, and the other sahaabi saw him and asked why are you weeping, and he said, because the Prophet (saw) said, people will come into this religion in great numbers and they will leave in great numbers." Narrated by Jabbar Ibn Abdullah from Musnad Ahmed Hadith 14344. In Surah Maidah(5) verse 51, thi is about the Jews and Christians. And you will notice that Allah is still calling the Muslims believers, this is just a warning to us not to take Jews and Chrisitians as friends, protectors, etc. Then when Allah says you become like them, this is in the sight of Allah (SWT). Auliya is something to do with the heart and the action, not only with the action (but particlular actions). Not any action will take you outside of Islam. The defintion of Auliya must be defined first according to the definition of the Qu'ran and Ahul Sunnah wal Juma'ah. And this in not according to one who is eager to do takfir and uses any excuse to satisfy his own ambitions. The real danger here is that there is no end to the chain of takfir. Once you make takfir on an individual without sufficient reason, and you begin to generalize. This is called takfir of association and eventually you will make takfir on the entire population. Takfir is not a simple issue, and the issue of Tawali is not simple. This is why we do not make takfir on every single Shia. Tawali is taking kuffar as allies, such as what is mentioned in the ayat. Allah has mentioned two terms in this ayat, the very clear kuffar, no one will have ijtihad about their kufr. And the other term is tawali, which is not all in one level. Some tawali is kufr, others are haraam and some issues are not even called Islamically tawali, but ignorant. An example is working for kafirs, giving a present to a kafir to keep good relations, sometimes talking nice to a kafir, being kind to your neighbor. This kind of action is not classed as tawali, although some of it could be haraam (unlawful). The real tawali in Islam which could take a person out of Islam could be turning against Allah or His messenger and messengers, by superceding their message or their orders with kafir ideologies. And this is exactly what was revealed, because the ten ayats before was only talking about replacing the shariah by jahili rules. The second kind of tawali which takes a person out of Islam is actually to help the kuffar (Christians, Jews, Fireworshippers, and those who were never Muslims) to take over the land of Islam or to spill the blood of Muslims for non-Islamic reasons. This does not include groups which some people have doubt about their kufr or their kufr will be a matter of ijtihaad. For example Imam Ahmed sees a person as a kafir, and Imam Shaafi does not see this person as a kafir. Imam Ahmed will not work with this person, however Imam Shaafi will work with him, and it does not take Imam Shaafi out of Islam. For more evidences on this subject please read Khwaarij & Jihad. The issue of takfir cannot be left up to people who have very limited knowledge and change the words and the meanings of Allah SWT. There are many rules from Ahul Sunnah wal Jama'ah which have been maintained up until now. Such as, to be mistaken by judging a kafir as a Muslim, is much better than to be calling a Muslim a kafir. The second rule is that it is agreed among the scholars, that judging the individual is not related to the core of one's belief. If two people differ in judging a person, that should never be extended to questioning each others belief or aqeedah. This has only been historically done by those who are ignorant of Islam and have their own agenda which is not the agenda of Allah and His Rasoolullah (SAW). Here are more examples of ambitious and dangerous. An example of a dangerous man who makes very dangerous remarks at the expense of his and those who follow him, stripping all of his followers of their good deeds. In this statement, the speaker will actually lie on Allah by saying something and attributing it to Allah. 1. Click Here, and 2. Click Here He is introducing new matters into the religion mixing both right and wrong. These kinds of people are in the wrong, the Prophet (saw) said, "the person who said about the Qu'ran in his own opinion, he is wrong, even if he gets it right." This is because it could be a coincidence and the person can get something right, but it doesn't mean that you know whey you have it right. Why is this Dangerous? When the speaker mentions the fatwa of Ibn Taymiyyah, "Ibn Taymiyyah in volume 35 page 373, said anytime a scholar leaves off his knowledge and follows the ruler in a leadership that goes against Qu'ran and Sunnah, this scholar has become a kafir, an apostate and he deserves to be punished in both this life and in the hereafter." This fatawa of Ibn Taymiyyah was a general fatawa. It cannot cancel the methodology of Ahul Sunah wal Jumm'ah, about the conditions of takfir which were included in the book entitled: Khawaarij & Jihad. Also this only half the picture of what Ibn Taymiyyah had said. In Taymiyyah said, what means in short: "this general statement should not be used to call for takfir on an individual, unless follwoing careful conditions of ahul sunnah wal jamaa'ah and making sure their are no impediments." Al Fatawa Vol. 28 page 500. The speaker who made these statements, which are becoming prevelant in a few areas of the United States, has been challenged to quote from any of the books of Ibn Taymiyyah (RH), where he called a single sheikh by his name a kafir because they helped the Tartars. Or where he called their students kafirs because they went out and taught their madhab to others. This again is an example of the dangerous twisting of the verses of Allah. In the time of Ibn Taymiyya there were thousands of sheikhs who were supporting the mongols against the Muslims. However, this did not stop him from fighting these sheikhs or enjoining the good and forbidding the wrong. If Ibn Taymiyyah (RH) debated with someone, even if they sometimes say some words of kufr, he would say: "If I say what you say I would become a kafir", but he would not call him a kafir. What is important to show ahul sunnah wal jum'ah what is Islam and kufr, and to fight the kufr and its groups. That is more important and safer, than giving titles and collectig followers or chasing ambitions to become the grand mufti of da'wah. So the danger, as you, insha'llah can see becomes very great and serious when mixed with evil ambitions. As was stated about the sahaabi who cried when he heard about those who came into the religion, how would he and the other companions (may Allah be pleased with them) feel about those who rush to take make takfir on the Muslims. This speaker has become dangerous and has created his own beliefs, then passing his own fataawa. His fataawa and conclusions actually does more to destroy Islam by reducing the numbmer of Muslims and creating the environment for khawaarij. Is this what we really want? This speaker will even go to the extent of slandering and supposing to know the intentions of the mujahid. Here is statement: "And some of them said they have lost their arms in jihad and still they are Salafi inclined. Now if you were damaged fighting jihad, how comes you have in your heart love for the people who are cementing the throne of the apostate leaders. But I am sure you know the hadith, three men will be dragged on their faces and dumped into the hellfire, 1) the scholar, he seek knowledge to be called a scholar. 2) The spender, he spent his money not to help Muslims, but to be called a spender, a kind hearter. 3) the mujahid, who went to jihad not to spread Islam, but to be called the lionheart, the braveheart, these brothers they are in the third category. They are using the word jihad for fame and fortune and to line their pockets. They are not sincere, this is why they are all salafi inclined. If they were sincere, they would hate even the shadow of the person who is cementing the throne of the apostate leader." Now to add to all of this is the statement of shrewd arrogance, where the speaker states the following: "Another question for you. Unfortunately, there are some brothers who claim to be a part of Jihad fiqhrah, Ahul sunnah wal juma'ah, these brothers can be found in Tooten and Finsbury Park. They don't believe that the Salafi's who are cementing the throne of the apostate leaders they are kafirs. Where are these brothers found? In Tooten and Finsbury Park. If you should attend a halaqah in Tooten, you would leave, you are confused. You wouldn't know if these brothers who spoke -- gave the halaqah, they are with Salafi's or they are with us. Now all the brothers who have been for jihad training, every single one of them are Salafi inclined. The only one's who are not Salafi inclined are the one's who went for jihad training from this halaqah, if I am lying please correct me now. ALL THE BROTHERS WHO HAVE BEEN FOR JIHAD TRAINING ARE SALAFI INCLINED!" To hear this statement Click Here. An ambitious self-titled sheikh who forgets that he is a student before he is ever a teacher gets more and more dangerous as he seeks to be noticed by words, not deeds. I was once told, "Words are indeed fine, but deeds are verily devine." Please read the above article The Righteous Scholar Let us put an end to these type of speakers by calling them to the lands of the battlefield where the Prophet (SAW) loved to be. In this way, maybe they can see the value of group work and develop fear for Allah. And once you develop this kind of brotherly love, it becomes very hard to pronounce takfir on a whole community of Muslims, women and possibly children. In the West, it does not take much for one to become an overnight scholar. The most damage that can be done is that one should come with sweet words and a silver tongue. Introduction: False Gods And Their Worshippers The Messenger (SAW) warned us in too many places about this type of danger. He said very clearly, 'What I fear most is a hypocrite with a good tongue, classified as sahih. See Sahih ulJaami' for more details. Our Messenger (SAW) also said in another place, 'Truly some type of speech is magic.' These warnings did not come just as entertainment. They actually came to warn against what was to come. In this time period, the Ummah is the most ignorant that it has ever been, as we know that since the fall of the khilaafa, the khutbas in most of the Muslim countries are done in some other language besides Arabic. This means that the grasp that the Ummah once had of the Arabic language is null and void. What's more, the onslaught continues on the hearts and minds of the Ummah through one of worst innovations of this era, the supposed 'Islamic University.' Long past are the days when the Ulama would sit in the masjid and teach after zuhr and asr to eager students who had just finished their supplications or offering optional salah. Instead, the universities came in, with a set up like a cross between Harvard, Yale and with a dash of Greek Jaahiliyyah thrown in. There is no more ijaaza system given to those who grasp the material. No. Rather, there are certificates handed out to those who are the most servile to either the regime or the servants of the regime. Instead of knowledge being transmitted to the students of knowledge, only dry memorisation is used, with institutes that call for no intellectual thought. The Arabic is horrid, the Islamic knowledge is something to be avoided and the teachers are only tools in the hands for those who may fondle them as they wish for their own satisfaction. The problem is terrible. The schools of Islam have been replaced by universities, colleges and institutes, with teaching methods patterned after Greek law. Islam has been brought to a new low. But this is not the last of the evil. These new innovations, like what has been done to Al Azhar (which was once an accredited Islamic school but has now been beset upon by the Ash'ari adherents), and what exists in the form of the 'universities' for 'Islam' like the University in Madinah, Muhammad ibn Sa'ud in Riyaad and alQirawin in Marrakkesh is not only criminal, but a shame. The graduates of these universities have now flown to the West, circling around the unknowing Muslims like a flock of crows. These students could be of three categories, 1. They have been taught incorrect belief and they do not know it, but they are sincere and they want to help Islam. These people can usually be guided and are happy to come out of whatever errors they had. 2. They have been taught incorrect belief, and they have come to spread their belief to others and to hinder the path of Allah. Sometimes these people are paid by the universities to open schools in the West to disrupt genuine Islamic movements that are already there and to stop the young Muslim communities in the West from realising the truth in Islam. 3. They have been taught incorrect belief, and althought they are not seeking any wealth, they are actually seeking fame and the adoration of people to follow them. This is the most dangerous and what has taken place in the West with the most frequency. The Muslims in the West, particularly London, have felt the sting of the universities of apostate regimes for quite some time, but in particular, the bark and bite of Muhammad ibn Sa'ud in Riyaad. This university has been known internationally for its' deviant opinions ever since it was exposed in the early seventies for beliefs that, 'the Earth was flat and whoever says otherwise is deviant.' This shouldn't be surprising, as the head over Muhammad ibn Sa'ud University was the Dar ulIfta staff, which was under the presidency of the late blind scholar and Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Shaikh Ibn Baz, who championed the cause of the Earth being flat. This was also the first 'university of Islam' to 'prove' from the Qur'an and the Sunna that women had no right to drive cars due to the fact that they were lacking in imaan and intellect. It was also from the staff of such a 'prestigious' university that the fatwa making it halaal for the foreign troops to occupy the Holy Lands of Makkah and Madinah issued forth from in 1991. The university is also the same one that King Fahd ibn 'Abdul 'Aziz graduated from, with honours in Shari'a and Islamic law (thus making him, Sir Shaikh Fahd), along with the well known Tuwaijri family, one of whom released a book declaring the entire Tablighi Jama'ah, followers, scholars and the like to be complete kuffar. This is also the same man of Muhammad ibn Sa'ud that pronounced those who disagree with him as deviant and was a close confident with the regime. Thus from its' very inception and since it opened its' doors, it was a place meant to churn out ignorant puppets and cronies to do three quarter bows to the regime, whether inside its' borders or outside. Now we enter into London, where the plague of the Saudi graduates has hit the hardest. Every graduate, or atleast half-baked failure, has come and stacked his claim as a London superstar. The most recent of these has been the introduction of what has now and will in the future be referred to as al'Aqida Lunduniyyah (the London Belief), which is held by a particular group of people who make takfir on those who disagree with them. The 'Aqida Lunduniyyah (which insha'allah, will be made into a seperate research coming soon) is what is taking root, particularly in Southeast and East London, where it is propagated the most. The inventor of the Lunduniyyah belief is also a graduate from one of these schools of the Taghut, and has carved out quite a voluptuous niche for himself in the house of takfir that he has built in London. We do not necessarily have to believe he has a degree, as some have come forward with their evidence to say that he only attended this school for two years, and was expelled soon after. Likewise, anyone in this part of the world can get a certificate from these universities. Many times all the person needs is a certificate for $500. We ask our readers not to take this as an offense, but that they understand that sometimes, there are people who hide behind a piece of paper when they lack the evidence. However, the Salafis proclaim that there is no record of his attendance at the school in Riyaad. We do not care much about these certificates, but we can see the truth behind it with the advertisement of the person's floored knowledge and crude conclusions. It is then more important to follow the comprehensive evidence and to learn from many people. If all of this fails, you shoauld return to the Qur'an and the Sunna, and match it with the books of Ahl us-Sunna walJama'ah, not taking clips and using them. In our articles in previous issues on what is takfiri, we explained who they were and their ideas, but now in this article we will give you one of the sources of the river of machine gun takfir and let you hear for yourself and make your decisions. This individual is known for his takfir, no other knowledge. And since his arrival in London in 1991, has become a monster. But the key to his success lies in his ability to change belief so suddenly. Infact, so suddenly has he changed belief, that sometimes some of his own students don't know everything that he believes. This is the case with these type of people. But what we shall do is split this research into segments, so that those interested can view the information. We will refrain from mentioning names, as the London superstars enjoy nothing more than this type of attention. We will therefore focus on the principle. In explaining the belief, we will quote segments of the lectures given by the inventor of al'Aqidah Lunduniyyah, along with tape and statement, and then whatever areas necessitate commentary we will do so. But keep in mind that this will be a shocking thing. Those that love the London superstars can only blame themselves, if they continue to follow a man that is insistent on doing wrong and refuses to be corrected in the way of advice. And with that we begin: Part I: Declaring As Kuffar Those Who Disagree With Him The Devil's Deception of the 20th Century
House Niggers, Side B: (Begin Quote) 'Anyone who listens to the tape of this man (Abu Usaamah) and doubts in his heart that he is a kaafir, you become a kaafir. If you have an atom's weight of doubt that he is a kaafir, you become a kaafir.' (End Quote) What of the Muslims that don't agree with opinion of this man regarding of Abu Usaamah? Are they kuffar? Only a few years ago, this man refused to make takfir on Shaikh Ibn Baz in a debate with Shaikh Abu Qataada, thus was he a liar then or a kaafir, according to his own methodology? What ever the result, it is not safe to listen to him or trust his statements. This is due to the fact that this issue with Abu Qataada did not take place in a circle, but in a debate. Towards Liberating the Holy Lands; Translation of the Khutba
by Shaikh Hudhaifi, Side B: (Begin Quote) 'I would like to reiterate the point that the regime (Saudi) is a kaafir regime, and the army who supports the regime is a kaafir army, and the scholars who support the regime are kuffar and the Salafis who support the scholars, they are also kuffar. 'And if you waver in regards to any one of these, you are a Murji (someone who believes that kufr and imaan are actions of the heart alone and that the limbs and tongue are not always sufficient as proof). 'If you have doubts in your heart about the scholars, if you have doubts in your heart about the regime, the army who supports the regime, the scholars who support the regime and the Salafis who give their allegiance to the scholars, you are a Murji, you are not from Ahl us-Sunna walJama'ah. 'Any woman living with one of these men, she is not a married woman, her marriage is not accepted, she is commiting zina (adultery). ANY woman living with one of these men, a Salafi, a wicked scholar, a soldier in the army or a minister in the government, she is commiting zina, she has no marriage, she has to make baraa (disassociation) from such a person.' (End Quote) So in this regard we actually have a whole group of people being called kuffar, which none of the scholars of the past have done. The most the Ulama have done is refer to someone as belonging to a group of kufr. But this means that it is a group, but inside of it are sinning Muslims, kuffar, those who have been tricked, in addition to those who have been forced. But here we have the man saying that the entire group is composed of kuffar, over something that does not cause one to leave from the religion if you differ in it. Where does the understanding come from that if one differs with you in regards to takfir in a particular issue? Where did this come from and who said this in the first place? No one did. This is why people are still debating on whether or not people like Shaikh Mahmud az-Zamakhshaari (a famous Mu'tazila scholar), Shaikh 'Ali ibn Husain ibn Sina (another famous Mu'tazila scholar) and others were kuffar (see Kitaab alMustafid walMufid, p. 22-31). Even though there is debate about it, Shaikh Muhammad ibn 'Abdul Wahhaab (RH) never called the people kuffar who differed with him about the issue of whether or not Ibn Sina was a kaafir (Please see ad-Durar us-Sunniyyah, V. 8-10 under the subject of takfir and Kitaab ulMustafid from the aforementioned page numbers). Other Ulama felt that it was an issue where Ibn Sina was interpreting. But Shaikh Ibn 'Abdul Wahhaab felt differently. But never once did he say, "The one who differs with me, indeed he is a kaafir, murji, etc, not from Ahl us-Sunna walJama'ah." So where does this man get the ruling about these issues if these great men didn't see the takfir of an individual in that manner. So although we don't blind follow the scholars and instead we follow the evidence, we do follow their methodology for understanding the truth that is contained in the verses. And it was never their way to understand the truth in that manner and slander people. Next is the pronouncement of adultery for the women that are living with Salafi men. This is a very broad and general term. What of the Salafi Mujaahidin in Algeria, Chechnya and other places? Are they wicked scholars and are their wives no longer halaal for them? Were their wives ever married in the first place as every salafi is a kaafir according to this methodology? And how should we understand the way that an entire group of people have been called kuffar? Where does this ruling come from? In this area, he has actually said that the women are committing adultery, thus the punishment for adultery is the death penalty in Islam. Therefore, their blood and wealth has been declared halaal and they have been declared open game to be taken war captives by the Muslims who would listen to this falsehood. According to Islam, if they belong to this category, they can then be taken as captives and sold either as slaves or taken as treasure in war. This is the full manifestation of the ruling that was given by the London superstar. Some might say that we have misinterpreted the ruling. They are perfectly fine in lodging such a complaint. This is why we will quote two more segments for the seeker of knowledge. Please observe the following: The Devil's Deception of the Murji;
Side B: (Begin Quote) 'The Saudi Salafis, who are vehement and enthusiastic in cementing the throne of the apostate leaders, they have apostated from alIslam as well. And any woman who is cohabiting with them, she is guilty of committing zina (adultery). 'It is said that many of them have apostated in Brixton (an area in London), but they were told not to live in that situation. These women are cursed! Because they are cohabiting with men who are the enemies of Allah Ta'ala, His Messenger and alIslam.' (End Quote) Cancers in the Body of the Ummah; Tape
1; Side B (Begin Quote) 'Salafis are like the army of Musailimah and they are outside the fold of Islam. Salafis are kuffar, i.e. a Salafi who knows the leader is a kaafir, and in spite of him of knowing the leader is a kaafir, he cements the throne of the apsotate kafirs.' Part III: Final Conclusions The Devil's Deception of the Saudi
Salafis; Side B (Begin Quote) 'Salafis are major hypocrites (kuffar). There is no difference between a Salafi and a disciple of Musailimah (a false prophet who proclaimed prayer to be abrogated and alcohol to be lawful). 'Musailimah exchanged the Shari'a and he had people who help him, supported him and fought for him. Salafis will fight and kill for King Fahd who dismantled the Shari'a. There is absolutely no difference between a Salafi and a disciple of Musailimah. 'Therefore you are not allowed to pray behind a Salafi. Your prayer behind them is baatil (false), because they are major hypocrites. They are mega hypocrites...you are not allowed to pray behind them. How can they be true believers when they take sides with people who dismantle the Shari'a? 'And they exchange their religion for money, the pomp and glitter of the life of this world. And any woman who is married to a Salafi, she has to disassociate herself from him and make baraa' (disassociation) from him. How can she cohabit with a man who betrays Allah Ta'ala, His Messenger, alIslam and Muslims. 'She should abhor such a man, just to look in his face should make her feel upset and sick.' (End Quote) Thus for those that wanted further evidence for the mistakes of takfir, then they have two other statements to record into their mental rolodex. Then look at all of this evidence and let them see all of it clearly. Again, after reading for themselves, the people can see that the private parts of Muslim women have been declared halaal and it has been declared perfectly lawful to come and take them from their husbands or plot to separate them from their husbands. Did the Prophet (SAW) ever asked the wives of the major hypocrites to divorce their husbands?! The next issue is the generalising and saying that all of the Salafis are kuffar and there is no prayer behind them. We have already covered the issue with calling every single Salafi a kaafir. The next problem, however, is that there is no prayer behind any of the Salafis. But how are they to find out whether or not the person is a Salafi (kaafir) or not? The answer leads to our next issue and to a bid'a, in which the adherents of 'Aqidah Lunduniyyah actually ask the person their 'aqidah before they feel safe to pray behind them. This is a great bid'a, and was first innovated by the Baihasiyyah Khawaarij, who held the belief that they did not pray behind people until they were sure about their 'aqidah. Please see our book, Khawaarij and Jihaad, for further details on Khawaarij and Takfiri groups. What this led to is that followers of this group that I spoke to were actually not going to Jumu'ah (some had not been in 2 years) due to the fact that they did not know and they suspected the belief of a particular imaam or person. This is clear deviancy and going astray without any doubt. What has happened is that some of them have actually not prayed Jumu'ah in years. Instead, they sit in their car, turn on the car stereo, and listen for their Friday khutba on a cassette of a false god, to the 'aqidah of Lunduniyyah. This belief actually causes divisions and cuts off Muslims from the main body of Islam. It also leads to leaving off the obligation of Jumu'ah, as the Messenger has already informed us that those who leave off Jumu'ah for more than three times without reason, Allah puts a black spot on their hearts, see Sahih ulJaami'a for the complete hadith, classified sahih. This is also a form of shirk, for the person who says this statement is claiming knowledge of the unseen by saying that the women have no marriage and not putting forward a reasonable excuse from the Shari'a why it is an unlawful marriage. Rather, this person has made his own rules on what abrogates and negates marriage. He has thus made the judgement on what is and what is not marriage. This is the other danger of the Lunduniyyah belief. At one point, whenever these deviant groups start, at one point their leaders always claim knowledge of the unseen. (Begin Quote) 'This man who is standing on the mimbar in Masjid ar-Ribaat (a masjid located in San Diego, California where a man named Imaam Anwar was giving the khutba), and preaching this khutba, he is one of the hypocrites. And he wants to protect his life...' (End Quote) Notice very closely that a man in a masjid half way across the world was labelled a kaafir without even being investigated for his statements and actions. This is a very sick individual to label others with the title of kufr and you do not know the reality of the person. We can also see that the machine gun takfir is working overtime, with the person making takfir actually claiming knowledge of the unseen by calling the person a propagator of the C.I.A. How does the person know that the man is working for the C.I.A.? Has the magic wand of the unseen been passed to this person to see into the hearts or even private affairs of the people? This is very dangerous, an only Allah has the right to the attribute of knower of the unseen. Thus again, there is some shirk being propagated here in this statement. (Begin Quote) 'Are you saying that Allah is an oppressor for turning the Jews into apes and swine for dismantling the Shari'a and dismantling the Shari'a is a minor issue, the way of hypocrites and kuffar like Abu Usaamah, Abu Muslimah, and people like Shaikh Ibn Baz, al Albaani, 'Uthaimin and Hamza Yusuf. 'They all promote the 'aqidah that to dismantle the Shari'a is a minor issue, don't even think about it, because on Judgement Day you wont be asked about the Shari'a. Think about yourself. This is called C.I.A. Islam.' (End Quote) There are a few things that have to be put in perspective here. The first issues is that he has just classified as hypocrites and kuffar people that he does not know or have any dealing with, simply due to the fact that they are disagreeing with something that he says. Again, knowledge of the unseen has been claimed, due to the fact that it has been stated boldly and as a matter of fact, that these people are agents of the C.I.A., and that all of those mentioned are kuffar without a single doubt. Where does this thinking come from where the title of kufr is handed out like a menu at a restuarant? This is going out of the boundaries of Ahl us-Sunna walJama'ah in the area of takfir, fiqh, tafsir and the manners of investigation. Kufr in Perspective; Side B: (Begin Quote) 'All the government scholars who are cementing the thrones of the apostate leaders, they have become apostates, ALL the government scholars...Their testimony of faith has been nullifed.' (End Quote) Again, general takfir rears its' ugly head. How do we say that every single scholar that is under government authority or on a panel of scholars is a kaafir? Do we say that Shaikh 'Abdullah ibn Jibrin (who is claimed by this man to be his teacher), Shaikh Ibn Qa'ud, Shaikh Safar alHawaali (who was on the government staff in his hometown before his arrest), Salmaan al'Awdah (also on the government faculty in Buraidah before his arrest) and many other scholars who, although caught under governmental authority, still stand for truth are kuffar? Why even Shaikh 'Umar 'Abdur-Rahmaan (may Allah hasten his release) was on the al Azhar government staff when he was attending from the years 1965-1970. And what of Shaikh Kishk (RH), also an Azhar man? And let's not forget Shaikh 'Ali ibn Haaj (may Allah hasten his release) of Algeria, who has memorised all seven ways of reciting the Qur'an and stood for the truth. Were all these men kuffar before they left their posts or the groups that they belonged to? Are they Muslims right now or kuffar? No. This is not the way. The correct way is to say that some of these institutions are a group of kufr, which could contain inside of them ignorant people, those who were forced, pious people trying to change things from the inside, and some people who actually are enemies and have apostated. But this way of labelling the group should not stop us from doing our duty of enjoining the right and forbidding the wrong. But we should certainly not jump to the domino takfir, which eventually leads back to the maker of the charge of domino takfir. The establishments set up to support the kufr actions of the rulers to remove the Shari'a or to kill Muslims are in general sense a group of kufr, but individually they have to be subjected to the impediments of takfir. Part II: Lying On The Scholars of the Ummah And Changing The Meaning of Words The next thing that the founder of this belief has been quick to do is change the words of the rightly guided scholars from their places. In certain cases, he actually lies about these Ulama. He has also been known to change words from their proper places and to distort and import with malicious intent. We will now present to you the following segments for your understanding and research: Cancers in the Body of the Ummah;
Tape 1; Side B (Begin Quote) 'The teacher of Ibn Baz, Muhammad ibn Ibrahim, said Tawhid alHaakimiyyah is the twin half of Tawhid alUluhiyyah. And they pronounce this man a deviant, so if he is a devaint, then the teacher of Ibn Baz is a deviant. 'Because the teacher of Ibn Baz said, Tawhid alHaakimiyyah, he USED the expression, Tawhid alHaakimiyyah. Tawhid alHaakimiyyah is the twin half of Tawhid alUluhiyyah.' (End Quote) This is actually a great lie and a grievous mistake. Shaikh Muhammad ibn Ibrahim (RH) never was the teacher of Shaikh ibn Baz. He taught Ibn Baz Islam for ten years, but he never gave ijaaza in any subjects. Secondly, in Shaikh Ibn Ibrahim's work, Tahkim alQawaanin, which this man is referring to, the expression Tawhid alHaakimiyyah (The Unity of the Law giving Legislative Power of Allah) was never used. The book Tahkim alQawaanin is an 8 page book, and within its' pages, the expression Tawhid alHaakimiyyah never appears. Infact, neither does the expression, Tawhid alUluhiyyah (The Unity of the Worship and Divinity of Allah), or for that matter, Tawhid alAsmaa' was-Siffaat (The Unity of the Names and Attributes of Allah) or Tawhid ar-Rububiyyah (The Unity of the Lordship of Allah) appear in this small work (copies of this book in its' original Arabic can be provided upon request for those who require evidence). This attributing of statements to Shaikh Ibn Ibrahim (RH), or any other scholar, when they did not say them is a colossal lie that has been perpetrated against the scholars of Ahl us-Sunna walJama'ah. The Devil's Deception of the Murji'; Side B: (Begin Quote) 'Muhammad ibn 'Abdul Wahhaab, when the people in the Arabian Peninsula were making sajda (prostration) to the graves and worshipping trees and stones, 'Did he make excuses for them, claiming that they were jaahil (ignorant)? NO! He fought and killed them as KUFFAR!' (End Quote) LIAR! Again, the scholars have been slandered. I quote a statement to you from the mouth of Shaikh ulIslam Muhammad ibn 'Abdul Wahhaab (RH): 'There are those who have slandered me and claim that I declare every person that worships the graves a kaafir. This is not true, as I had to stop takfir sometimes, due to ignorance of these people. 'Those who are saying that I just make takfir on these people are trying to keep the people from the way of Allah and His Messenger,' (taken from ar-Rasaa'il min Imaam Muhammad ibn 'Abdul Wahhaab and quoted from his grandsons. The Arabic original will be provided upon request for those who want evidence. For more information, please look for the outcome of the debate that is coming. Thus it is imperative to investigate before we go into a temper tantrum of takfir. It is also necessary that we protect the people of truth from being slandered and attacked. It has never been known of Ahl us-Sunna walJama'ah, that when they see someone doing a crime, they just make takfir on the person and they don't correct them. In cases such as the graves and other matters, the scholars always clarify. It has never been their way to just go on a rampage and begin killing without trying to bring the people to the truth. This is what the enemies of Islam, like the British and so on have tried to attribute to Islam in general and to this great man in particular. Kufr in Perspective; Side B (Begin Quote) 'Whoever does that (changes the Shari'a and/or rules by another law) is a kaafir and it is obligatory on all Muslims to oppose such a ruler, by any means necessary." These are the words of Ibn Kathir.' (End Quote) This is a clear lie. Ibn Kathir (RH), in V. 2 p. 62-64 never said any such thing. What Ibn Kathir (RH) said is: "Whoever does that, then he has become a kaafir and it is compulsory to fight him until he returns to the judgement of Allah...." (The original Arabic will be provided for those who would like physical evidence). Kufr in Perspective; Side B:
(Begin Quote) 'If you give your money to the IMF (International Monetary Fund; a part of the UN economic system), you're a kaafir.' (End Quote) This is a clear lie and an obvious mistake. So serious in it, is that the great majority of the Muslims have been called kuffar. This is due to the fact that the tax money that is taken from the Western countries, in which a great many Muslims live, is dedicated to the IMF fund on a regular basis. Infact, 5 percent of the tax money taken out of the check of people in the United States goes towards the IMF. Thus, the Muslims in America, whether they like it or not, forced or not, knowing it or not, become kuffar every single time that they get paid from their job. Or they become kuffar every time they pay the rent on their businesses that they own. Or they also become kuffar when they pay for their food at the local grocery store, when they pay for their produce and the tax is taken out of their check. When the people that were suffering from starvation in Somalia and Ethiopia were given food by the IMF, according to the aformentioned belief, upon eating the first morsel of food, those starving Muslims became kuffar and outside of Islam. The Muslims in the Islamic countries that buy foreign clothes or drink Pepsi are also kuffar according to this, due to the fact that Pepsi and the Coca Cola company are proud partners and contributers to the IMF charitable fund. So just how many people have become kuffar according to this belief by going to Pizzahut, having a cheese pizza and ordering a carbonated beverage. This type of mega-takfir should never be accepted by the general Muslims and may the Muslims keep us safe from that great evil. This research, in an attempt to preserve some sort of brevity, did not have all the points presented. We request that the readers be patient for al 'Aqidah Lunduniyyah, which will headline more of the issues. We also ask the reader that they make du'aa for the guidance of the Ummah and from their safety from falling into this evil and from following silver tongued people of takfir merely because they are the same race, socio-economic background and so forth. And may Allah give us the strength and unconquerable men to go forward and to help the Ummah with our hands and hearts and not slash them with our tongues.
THE
POWER OF WORKING IN A JUMA'AT In our time now, there are plenty of Muslims who are great people. The Ummah has swelled to one billion in number. There are so many Muslims that they are large in number like ants. The amount of people who are entering into Islam is startling and is surprising even the Orientalists, who study professionally to destroy Islam. Yet, Muslims as a group seem to be failing pathetically, but succeeding well as individuals. It is sad that group work, which is known of Islam, is one of the most forgotten principles today. Gone are the days when groups worked together for the common good and sacrificed their own personal needs. Since the evaporation of the Khilaafa system by the enemies of Islam between the years 1919-1924, the group work that Islam was known for passed into near oblivion, with the exception of the strong Ulama, knowledgeable people dedicated to working for Islam in da'awa and other activitiies and the Mujaahidin, striving for Islam. When we say Ahl us-Sunna walJama'ah, many people are prepared to say that they are striving for the Sunna, however they want nothing to do with the Jama'ah and other Muslims. Some Muslims have become so self-righteous that they don't need group work. Everyone wants to work on their own, and no one needs help. In the 'modern' times, no one needs groups and everyone is just fine on their own. Who needs groups, they say. We just want to practice Islam. If only they knew that Islam is group work. The Jama'ah (Group) is what makes up Islam. And if it was not for the group, there would be no Islam, as Umar (RAA) has said, 'There is no Islam without jamaah.' As we know in the Qur'an, Allah (SWT) is always referring to the group work that this Ummah is supposed to be doing. He has said, 'You are the best Ummah that has been brought forward for people. You enjoin the right and forbid the wrong and you believe in Allah. 'And if the People of the Book had believed, it would have been better for them. From among them are believers, but most of them are Faasiqun (rebellious sinners),' Surah Aali Imraan, ayah 110. Thus Allah has told us that we are the best Ummah. He has also shown us that one of the great errors of the Ummahs of the past, like the Jews and Christians, besides their major shirk, was the fact of their failure in group work. Allah (SWT) then addressed the Jews regarding their group work. Part of their group work was that they were entrusted with the Torah and to preserve it together and with discipline. But the Jews did not preserve it, and they failed in their group work. This led to the evaluation by Allah (SWT) of their group work, 'The likeness of those who were entrusted to bear the Torah and they did not bear it is the likeness of the donkey bearing books. Evil is the likeness of the people who deny the signs of Allah. But Allah does not guide the oppressive people,' Surat ulJumu'ah, ayah 5. Thus in the task of preserving the Torah and speaking the truth with it, they failed and they were not willing to benefit from the knowledge. The comparison between them and the donkey is a strong one, as the donkey is laden with weight, and he makes no difference between the weight of gold and the weight of books. Thus whether it is knowledge or dead weight, it is all the same to the donkey. The Jews have been the same way with their conservation and preservation of the Torah. And in their group work, they failed. And as Allah has shown us, failing to work in a group can lead to the denial of some of or all of the signs of Allah. And there is no worse oppression than that which people do to themselves when they fail in their group work, deny the signs of Allah and tamper with the words of Allah. The group work is how the people have gone astray. This area has been one of the greatest stumbling blocks that has hurt this Ummah since the devastation of the khilaafa system. This is precisely why so many times in the Qur'an, Allah (SWT) has informed us, 'O you who believe, O you who believe, not the statement, 'O the person who believes, or 'O you man who believes.' This is due to the fact that Allah is addressing the group and he wants the group to work. Only through group work can the full fruit of the Ummah be harvested and success can be realised. Allah has attached so much reward to working in the Jama'ah system, that he said of those struggling for His cause, 'If there are among you twenty patient ones, they will overcome 200, and if there are 100, they will overcome 1000 of those who are kuffar, because they (the kuffar) to not have understanding,' Surat ulAnfaal, ayah 65. The kuffar can not understand how they have been overcome by the group work of the believers! This type of work is like no other. The group work comes from the love that is showered on those who believe by Allah when they put their hands together and strive to preserve and honour this beautiful religion of Islam, 'Truly Allah loves those who fight in his cause in rows together as if they were one solid and strong stucture,' Surah Saff, ayah 4 The kuffar have no such affection and love from Allah, and the Almighty has only said of the way that they work with each other, 'On the contrary, those who are kuffar are in strong enmity and divisions,' Surah Saad, ayah 2 In all such matters and cases, the kuffar, when they are amongst eachother, have nothing but strong hatred and enmity for one another. But if the issue of Islam should arise, then they unite quickly in one solid block to resist Islam and to attack and disfigure its' adherents. One of the greatest examples of history of this agreement and alliance was in the Battle of Trench, also known as the battle of the clans. In this battle, a massive trench was dug by the Muslims to safeguard themselves from invasion by the kuffar. This way, the kuffar would not be able to cross the trench and those that tried would be quickly impeded by the breadth and length of the trench. But the dynamic and reality of group work was manifested in this pivotal battle. On the outside of the trench were those who were attempting to lay siege to the Muslims. These included the pagans of Makkah, the Jewish tribes as well as the various Christian factions. And on the inside, defending the principles of the worship fo one true lord were the Muslims, alone, exhausted but triumphant and honourable in their defense of the truth, and most of all, SUCCESSFUL IN THEIR GROUP WORK. In recent times, the Battle of the Trench has come again, with the Buddhists (believed by many to be peaceful) in Burma killing and expelling Muslims from the land, the Hindus killing Muslims on the island of Bali in Indonesia, the Jews killing Muslims in Palestine and the Orthodox and Russian Orthodox factions of Christianity slaughtering the Muslims in Bosnia, Albania, the former Russian rebublics and many other former Soviet sattellites. Sadly, however, Muslims have forgotten the Battle of the Trench and some are actually crossing over to the other side. Others have become indifferent and have actually just cooly stood by watching the carnage. We Muslims have to return to our group work, we have to stop our self righteousness, and we have to be willing to work with a jama'ah together and shed some blood for the sake of Allah to preserve the religion. This could be realised by working in da'awa, making hijrah with the intention to preserve one's religion, and the highest of all of these is to fight in the cause of Allah against the enemies of Allah and to protect the friends and helpers of Allah. And May Allah help us and make us from among his helpers and supporters and let us always be vigilant to the modern day, BATTLE OF THE TRENCH.

AND EVIL
South Africa is ablaze with the fire of a possible jihaad, due to the stance of the Muslims against tyranny and oppression in Cape Town. Due to the strength of some of the Muslim groups, South Africa felt it necessary to draft foreign experts on how to deal with the 'Islamic problem.' Steve Tshwete, the Safety and Security Minister, made it clear that if some action is not taken to deal with the pan-Islamic group, People Against Gansterism and Drugs (PAGAD), then there could be complete turmoil unleashed all over South Africa, and no longer localised to just Cape Town, as it has been now. Mr. Tshwete has also warned that this situation could turn into another Algeria if not stopped. This is due to the fact that him and the Western powers still blame the Islamic groups for the 100,000 people that have died since 1992, in the civil war in Algeria, even though it has been shown that the government, as well as the Khawaarij groups, had something to do with it. Thus the fear is that a reign of Islamic forces would be let loose on the country of South Africa. So, on the basis of just fear, FBI, Scotland Yard and several other European agencies have converged upon Cape Town in order to try to find some solution to the problem that is plaguing South Africa. The Jama'ah of PAGAD has promised to stomp out drugs and the other ills that are taking root in the society around them. Their hard work deserves commendation. Since they began their bombing campaign first began, 3 people have died and more than 100 have been injured. A total of 19 attacks have been carried out on places of fornication and evil, with Planet Hollywood being a favourite target. The most recent target for bombing campaign was the Obz Cafe, but no one was injured. This will make this attack the fifth bomb attack in the city in a month. Concern for PAGAD activities reached a high point when a magistrate, by the name of Peiter Theron, who was involved with attempting to convict some members of PAGAD, was assassinated at his residence. Alarm has gone up all over the country for fear that other high ranking people could be targeted for liquidation by the group. Mr. Tshwete appeared visibly shaken by all of the incidents, and has said, "Our friends in Algeria (The domestic and French tyrants who are running the country and have maimed the population beyond recognition with their military strong arm tactics) have intimated that if we do not take a bold stand we might soon find ourselves in a similar situation. They are saying to us that this is how it started in Algeria and look where it is today." Look where it is today is exactly the right terminology, and this is the key to saving the people of South Africa from paganism and the clutches of prostitution. In Algeria, it only took a few brothers to start the move against wickedness, and now our Salafi brothers from the Mujaahidin are striving and dealing with the Khawaarij as well as the government quite nicely. We hope that the brothers in PAGAD will follow the same lead and that their force and their drive will lead them all the way to establishing an Islamic state over the backs and skulls of the tyrants and their supporters, be the internal or external. And may Allah crown the efforts of our Mujaahid brothers in South Africa with success.

IS PAGAD WHO ARE THE BROTHERS AT PAGAD After the much televised assassination of a South African magistrate by an Islamic group known as PAGAD, it is necessary to explain to our brothers and sisters just who our Mujaahid brothers in South Africa are and what their aims and objectives are in the struggle to bring the Shari'a. The Islamic group, PAGAD (People Against Gangsterism and Drugs) started out in the late 1980's as an anti-drug campaign, who were interested in trying to stop the corruption and widespread usage of drugs. This included trying to stop the drug dealers from distributing and peddling in Muslims neighbourhoods. This is actually the job of the government, but due to its' failures, it had to be left to the people to do. But when it was found that the government would not help them and that in some cases, they were actually defending the drug dealers, PAGAD decided to take action. This action came in the form of swift and blinding violence against the drug dealers and those who aided them. Due to this, the brothers were offered help from other militant groups. Some were taught the art of munitions and explosive making, and still others were taught the principles of Islamic law and fiqh, thus they are a group educated in Islam as well. The brothers then decided to take the war to the streets, stopping with their hands all that was forbidden by Allah and His Messenger. By 1995, there were public executions done to the drug dealers, and the central government was being challenged by the group directly. This battle continued, and many sympathisers began to help the cause of these brothers and sisters struggling to get the Shari'a. As more and more violence and tension mounted between the government and PAGAD, in 1995, the jama'ah began a five year boming campaign to step up attempts to build an Islamic state. The government cried to the other countries, particularly the United States, that 'urban terrorism' is going out of the hands and jurisdiction of the government and is becoming incapable of being controlled. The government further alleged that they were dealing with an 'underground network of fanatics.' Anything to do with any type of bombing or violence, the brothers and sisters of PAGAD were always suspected. They were arrested, many times without proper cause or justification, and they have been tried in trumped up court cases to demean and to break the will of the jama'ah. Out of 54 PAGAD involved court cases, 42 have been convictions. Our brothers from the PAGAD jama'ah have a message for us and the world. They have made it clear that they think South Africa is a den of fornication and evil, and that it must be destroyed. They have also stated, in press releases that have been released years before, that policemen, police stations, court houses that make man-made laws, homosexuals as well as the US are top priority in their jihaad campaign. Of the 19 attacks that there have been on public places in recent years, nine of them have been in 1421 (2000). The most famous of them was the explosion that rocked a set of buildings near the US consulate last month. The Mujaahidin of PAGAD have also made sure to target foreign investment restuarants that encourage homosexuality, homosexual bars and pubs, not to mention police stations and government buildings. We should make du'aa that our brothers continue their steadfast mission, and that Allah strengthens their resolve. And may Allah make it possible for an Islamic state to be built on the rubble of what is today's South Africa.

On Jumada alAkhirah 14, 1421 (Sept. 12, 2000), three Malaysians were taken hostage by gunmen from a resort near the country of Malaysia's east coast. Some are concerned that it may be part of the Philippine Islamic rebel uprising, but no one has yet called in or claimed responsibility for the attacks. It has now come to the point that no matter what the issue is, the Muslims are always suspected and sought for questioning. This type of sucpicion is what feeds the heart of many. And if the Muslims did do the kidnapping, it should be observed that hostages are taken all the time from countries by the West, and yet this is seen as bringing people to justice. An example of this would be the kidnapping of Adolph Eichmann, former Nazi strongmen, from South America in the 1980's by the MOSSAD organisation of Israel. He was put on trial in Israel and then murdered. This same issue is seeking to repeat itself for the warrant offered on the head of Usaamah ibn Laadin. The United States is actually inciting its' citizens, or someone else's to actually go and kidnap a man from a foreign country and bring him to their country, so he can be put in jail or killed after a court case, that would 'bring him to justice.' This strange attitude is all too common and it seems that these types of actions, when perpetrated by the West, tend to be forgotten so easy. Has everyone forgotten about the kidnapping of Manuel Noriega, the HEAD OF STATE of a foreign country, and now he is sitting, rotting in a jail cell in the United States. This man was actually judged for crimes that he did in his own country, and then brought to the US to live out the sentence (!). This man was kidnapped, and a HEAD OF STATE at that!. Should we always point the finger at the Muslims, or should be look at the big picture first. If people in the United States and Britain are going to tell the Muslims that they have to pay for the policies of Saddam and Qaddafi, do they not think that they will have to pay for the policies of Clinton, Gore, Blair and others. If you use force against others all of the time, how long do you think it will be before they, especially Muslims who have been taught to resist tyranny, will react and move against your plottings. And may Allah protect our Ummah and those people struggling for from the slander and roving hands of the mischief makers.

..Eighteen Year-old Muslimah In Prison for Killing Rapist An 18 year-old in America has been charged of murder and is being held in a jail in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Hala Gabr, was just 17 and three weeks of turning 18, when her foster mother took her to Atlantic City, while she went into a casino. Hala was left by herself to see the sights. After a while, Hala called a cab to go back and meet up with her foster mother. The cab driver offered her $20. to have sex with her. When Hala refused, the cab driver pulled a knife on her and forced to a motel room where he raped her violently. Medical records proved that she was sexually violated. At some point during the whole ordeal, she hit the cab driver with a bottle and knocked him to the ground. As he went down, she reached for the knife and stabbed him 13 times. She hid his body in the bed under the mattress, cleaned up the room, drove off in his car and threw all of his belongings in a nearby stream. These items havae been found, negating the prosecution's claim that she was stealing his belongings. Because she was so shocked by the whole incident, she got into a car accident, and was taken unconscious to a hospital. When she was revived, she fled to her father's house in Brooklyn (from where she originally escaped from abuse and thus put into a foster home). The police found her purse in the car and traced her there, where she was arrested. The rapist, authorities said, frequently picked up prostitutes and was known as a sxual predator in the Atlantic City area. Hala does not have a criminal record, and although she cannot get the death penalty because of her age at the time, she is subject to life without parole for 50 years. She is currently being held on $500,000 dollars bail. MUJAAHIDIN OF ALGERIA KEEP ON THE LONG ROAD TO PARADISE In our last issue, we included an article that stated that Shaikh 'Uthaimin of the Arabian Peninsula's council of scholars, publicly asked for the Mujaahidin of Algeria to come down from the mountains and hand in their weapons to the ruling regime. We are happy to update you that our loyal brothers from the Salafi Mujaahidin did no such thing, and that they have stated unequivocably, that they will remain in the mountains and that the campaign of jihaad will carry on. They also wanted it made understood in a recent press release that they will be attacking France and going to war on French soil, unless the French occupation of Algeria is called to a halt. This news brought cries of Allahu Akbar in the camps of the believers and anger and mourning to those who wish the Mujaahidin ill will. And may Allah reward our Salafi brothers and have them continue on the path to greatness. And may Allah cause us to help in that with our bodies, wealth and if nothing else, our du'aa.
