Serving through Good Sportsmanship

Serving others with sportsmanship although mew lost

Mew can still be a winner although mew lost the game

Unlike the kitten pictured above, mew don't have to be afraid of the paws or balls from the other kitten celebrating but mew can join in on the celebration and victory for the simple fact that mew also had fun playing the game. In reality there is never a winner or a loser in the end if the game was played fair and mew both had fun unless the golden rules are not followed. Just as with the winner, the one who did not win because of points has a set of rules to follow in order to serve through sportsmanship. Below are the golden rules:

1. Always remember that it is only a game and there will always be one wif more points then the other. The game is not about who wins or loses but the fun mew are able to have with furriends. The game is not fun if mew are hissing at one another or fighting. Too often the one with the less points mews that the other one cheated or did not play fair, but in reality they are only upset with the fact that they themselves did not win. They fail to see that both of them are actually winners because they both had fun playing the game!

2.Always concatulate the winner because they played a great game and mew would want to be concatulated to if mew had one. This within itself is a service because it takes allot to forget about ones loss and concatulate the other. ( Service is defined as putting another before oneself without expecting anything in return.)

3.Always remember the furriendship that mew have with the other kitten who mew were playing with, Don't give them the rope as the above kitten is doing but instead keep the furriendship that mew have always had. The game is not about who wins or loses but how mew play it. If mew gave it mewr best but did not get the amount of point mew needed to win then see what the other did and ask for some pointers in for the game for the future. This can be serving the winner because as they help mew they are helping themselves!

4.Always remember to keep the game on a cheerful note. As the old saying goes," Mew don't have to cry over spilled milk." There will be better days and mew might win the points mew need the next time mew play!

5.Finally, no matter who mewr opponent was, mew should always try to have fun and in the end keep mewr wonderpurr purrsonality! Mew played the game to have fun not hiss or fight! Do unto others as mew would have them do unto mew!
