Another great way to use your human as a play toy is to use him as a boundary when you race. He is sleeping on the sofa and you can use him as number 3 turn in the long race track known as the living room. This is the basic layout of a regular race track found in any living room. Your human need not be present to play this game, but sometimes it is so much more fun if he is. This is an especially entertaining game played in the early morning hours.
You start the game where ever you may be standing when the urge to run hits you. You must dash over the sofa back, down the arm, across the coffee table, under the end table, over the chair, onto the entertainment center (commonly known as your human) and then race for the hall as fast as your kitty feet can carry you. When you think it is safe to re-enter the room, take the same path as before, only this time run like your life depends upon it, because it probably does.
Your human is now in the "Hunt" mode, ready to catch you on the next lap of the race, so that he can toss you outside and resume his nap or watching some fascinating tidbit on TV. This is why you need to pay attention to the map. The human mind is not equipped to memorize something as complicated as this, but yours is. So when he lunges for the chair, you, of course, will be dashing under the coffee table, completely safe, and you have won another round of the Chase.
