Many cultures have used the peyote stitch. Examples of peyote stitch have been found in artifacts from Ancient Egypt. Native American beads were carved from natural materials like shells, coral, stones, copper, silver, wood and animal bones. Glass beads were not used until the colonists brought them from Europe.

I only use high quality glass seed beads for my creations and all are done using the peyote stitch. Each piece is unique and one-of-a-kind. No patterns or graphs are used. Every design evolves from my imagination as I work with the piece. As in custom beading, each piece contains an error or a "Spirit Bead"
