A Spar that crosses the Mast horizontally, on which a Square Sail is Set.

YAW
1. The side-to-side rolling of a Sailboat (i.e., when a Vessel is
moving Through-The-Water, pivoting along its longitudinal axis
with an unstable vertical axis).
2. To deviate a Vessel off a direct course.
YAWING

A two-masted, Fore-and-Aft-Rigged Sailing Vessel with a large Main
Mast and smaller Mizzen Mast that is Stepped Aft of the Rudderpost.
