About Us |
|
We started making maple syrup in 1982. The first year we had approximately 75 taps and we collected in five
gallon plastic buckets. We made syrup in a homemade flat pan set on concrete blocks. Today we have
approximately 2500 taps. Our woodlots are equipped with tubing and vacuum systems. We no longer use any
buckets to collect sap. Our sap shack houses the very latest in maple technology. Sap filtering, reverse osmosis,
oil fired evaporation, automatic drawoff, and a filter press are some of the elements in our syrup making process.
The main ingredient, however, is this: We take pride in our product, and we love what we are doing. Our entire
family, several friends, and neighbors are included in our spring syrup making endeavor. "We are committed to
quality."
|
We use only clear, fresh, maple sap. It is then filtered, sterilized, and processed quickly. The result is the
highest quality maple products available anywhere. Your satisfaction is guaranteed by us.

We are proud to be members of the Michigan Maple Syrup Association. We had the priviledge to host the fall
Maple Tour. Pictured are several of Michigan's Maple Producers learning about our process. |

January will find us in the woods repairing lines and making improvements where necessary.
