Episode 40, "The Wedding Part III

"Lyndsay get the Hell out of here!" Taylor mumbles, incredibly upset. Amber looks shocked, horrified, and furious all at once.

"It’s not that easy, lover."

Several people stand up from the audience to restrain Lyndsay and escort her out of the building, but Lyndsay brandishes a gun in retaliation.

"Hold it!"

The frightened onlookers gasp and sit down, as Lyndsay cackles evilly, her gun held strong at the guests.

"What are you doing, Lyndsay?!" Taylor yells, furious. "Don’t you get it? We are THROUGH! OVER! FINISHED! You are not a part of my life anymore so why don’t you leave me and my wife alone?!"

"She’s not your wife yet!"

Lyndsay violently grabs at Amber and throws her into a choke position, holding the gun to her head. Amber screams as Taylor reaches out for her in despair. The priest cowers to the corner of the church.

Lyndsay is putting on a grand show. "Anyone in here watch the Young and The Restless?" She laughs. "Ever here of the phrase, If I can’t have you, no one can?"

Several people seem to call out "Oh My God!"

"No!" Taylor yells, while Lyndsay cocks the gun and abruptly sticks it to Amber’s temple, her hand shaking with horrifying intensity. She could shoot Amber any second.

"Please, Lyndsay, I’m begging you! Don’t do this! Please just tell me what you want and you’ve got it!"

"It would be so typical," Lyndsay screams maniacally, "For me to start crying now and say that I want you, wouldn't it? Well its too late for that you JERK! Instead,I want you and your friends and everyone IN THIS CHURCH to die!"

"Surely you can’t be serious?!"

"Like Hell." Lyndsay smiles and tears a detonator from her pocket. She holds it up to her face, laughs and presses the button.

Taylor is in shock, and everything around him seems to be in slow motion. He turns to Amber, who is several feet away from him, and starts toward her as a huge fireball erupts from the end of the church.

Amanda stands up, horrified at the ensuing doom, and even screams, but it is too late. As debris and chunks of wood fly past her, the ball of ferocious flame swallows her as it works its way to the front of the church, like a rushing flood of fire.

The tens of people in the seats stand up and try to escape, but the flames rapidly, but ever so slowly, engulf them, leaving them no time to gather their thoughts. Stands and seats are blown forcefully towards the front of the church by the massive power of the explosion.

Taylor finally reaches Amber, as if in slow motion, and grabs her in his arms. Paternally and very protectively, he falls to the ground with his arms shielding, just dodging a large piece of debris.

Lyndsay laughs evilly, even as the wall of fire hits her, throwing her to the floor, and completely devouring her. She holds up the detonator victoriously, even as her own death nears.

Alex holds Candice close to his body, both terrified, but everything is happening so quickly that they don’t have enough time to realize what is happening. Alex turns to Candice and places a gentle, parting goodbye kiss on her lips, as the explosion tears them apart and flings their helpless bodies in different directions. They flames, too, swallows them.

As things, in Taylor’s vision, slow down to a near halt, many thoughts run through his head. He watches his friends be murdered by a rampant explosion...his whole life he has been haunted by tragedy, and even know at his own wedding, he looks death straight in the eyes. He starts to feel the heat of the flames against his skin, the burning sensation unbearable, as he holds Amber close and tight in his arms. He notice’s a tear falling to the ground...it is Amber’s. As the flame begins to take Taylor, he gasps and a vision begins to unwind in his mind.
