Late fees will be applied to any tuition payment not received by the 15th of each month.
A materials fee of $10.00 is assessed each student at the time of registration. This fee is not applicable toward tuition.
Refunds are not available.
Books and materials may be obtained from PATTI MUSIC in Madison, WI. Call 1-800-777-2884, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time, Monday-Friday. Use Mastercard, Visa, or Discover. You may also email Patti Music.
The previous quotation is a policy of the Minnesota Music Teachers Association. Because I am a member, I adhere to this policy. Therefore, make-up lessons will be granted for reasons of illness or unavoidable emergency only.
Make-up lessons must be made up within the framework of the quarter in which the lesson was missed. Make-up lessons can not be carried into the next quarter.
Parents may sit in on a lesson; transient visitors and friends may not.
Specific information about tuition must be discussed with instructor at the time of the interview. My studio is structured on a nine month installment basis for the piano year.
MISSED LESSONS
"Student responsibilty and lesson attendance ... Since a student contracts the instructor's time when he enrolls, he is expected to be present for his lesson period. The lesson period assigned each pupil becomes his personal and financial responsibility for the entire year. That time is reserved for him and is of no value to anyone else. No allowance or deduction for missed or cancelled lessons except in cases of extended illness or emergency. Under no circumstances need a professional instructor consider forgetfulness, lack of preparation, school extra curricular activities, or social conflicts as a valid excuse ... "
