N.S.T.M: Our Track Record
Does N.S.T.M have a success rate?
Absolutely. Contrary to secular opinion, Abstinence works and it is
effective! We educate youths in our teaching without preaching and condemning.
Our feedback are enormous from youths, parents, school teachers and church youth leaders,
both home and abroad, of how much our seminars has impacted the lives of their young people.
Since the conception of the course, we have seen a whole new outlook on youths after completing
seminar. Parents were thrilled and excited to know that they can now relax,
feeling assured that their teenager has been expose to Biblical alternatives on
sexual abstinence. Christians and non alike walked away knowing that their bodies belong to
God and they are vessels of His honour and glory. Remember, God is the final authority on human sexuality.
Many youths for the first time see their life with goals and purposes in which God has
intended for them. Numerous youths have taken the course up to three times because of
its rich resource of information and fresh approach. One can just read our feedback section to get a
small glimpse of just a few who have completed the seminar.
Graduates, Comments on N.S.T.M
"I believe in sexual abstinence because I think it is a way to stay pure and godly. I
think more steps should be taken to make more young people aware of the benefits of sexual
abstinence."
- Yolande Spencer, High School Student
"I believe in sexual abstinence because my parents have taught me about God and about
my body being a temple of the Holy Spirit and I do not want to defile my body with
premarital sex."
-Candice Smith, High School Student
"I believe in it because it is written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Also because it
works for young couples that are in or starting a relationship."
-Jason Forbes, High School Student
"I believe in sexual abstinence because it is morally right. This is the best way of
contraception because there is a 100% chance of not getting pregnant. It is also pleasing
in God's sight."
- Anonymous
"I believe in sexual abstinence because it will prevent a lot of problems in the long
run such as illegitimate children, certain diseases and bringing shame to yourself, family
and friends."
- Delvin Hanna, Air Condition Repairman
"I believe in sexual abstinence because the Lord God made sex for the marriage
covenant. Also, if the person says he loves you, he would wait because they do say that
love is patient, love is kind, does not act unbecomingly, does not seek it's own, does not
rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth."
- Roshanda Clarke, College Student
"I believe in sexual abstinence because God commanded us to be holy as He is holy.
Also, because it is safer to live a sex free life for a higher chance of attaining full
physical, emotional, mental and spiritual fulfillment in marriage."
- Anonymous
"We were commanded in the Bible to remain sexually pure until marriage. Therefore
because of my commitment to Christ, I choose to abstain. Also, I want to avoid pregnancy
and STD's."
- Anonymous
"I feel that sexual abstinence is morally, ethically and spiritually correct. It is
the right decision for young persons who want to have a future and be spiritually pure to
abstain from sex."
-Candice Deleveaux, High School Student
"I believe in sexual abstinence because as a child of God, abstaining from sexual
activities is part of keeping the body of Christ pure and free. My body belongs to God
which means that it is pure and sanctified therefore I feel that my body should be kept
pure and free from sexual activities until I am married to the one the Lord provides for
me." Romans 6:11-14
-Kimberley Rolle, College Student
"First of all, God created sex for marriage. Secondly, sex is fun but only under the
shelter of God. With you having sex, it's destroying your temple."
- Anonymous
"I believe in sexual abstinence because it is the right thing to do - it's righteous
in the eyes of God. It's very fulfilling and you won't have to worry about a sexual
commitment to any person."
- Renaldo Shurland, Junior High Student
"I believe in sexual abstinence because I think that children our age should not be
involved in sex. They should wait for the right time."
- Atalia Cash, Junior High Student
"I believe in sexual abstinence because it says in God's Word that you must abstain
from sexual intercourse until marriage, so that you will be pure and holy when you are
married."
- Tyria McKenzie, Junior High Student
"I believe in sexual abstinence because if you don't learn how to do that, you will
have problems physically and emotionally. You might catch STD's or other diseases which
would be a bigger problem. If you have sex before marriage, you will be hurt for
life."
- Simone Smith, Junior High Student
"I believe that sexual abstinence is a part of God's will for my life and it's a part
of my commitment to God, my family and friends."
- Cutelle Thurston, College Student
"The reason why I believe in sexual abstinence is because it is the right thing to
wait until I am married. Sex isn't to be misused. It was invented by God for enjoyment and
procreation between husband and wife."
- Terri Albury, High School Student
"I believe in sexual abstinence because the Bible tells us that sex was ordained by
God for the marriage covenant. The Bible also teaches that our bodies are the Temple of
God and we should keep it holy. As we abstain from sex until marriage, we create better
families, churches, homes, communities and healthier lives."
- Latario Whymns, High School Student
"I believe in abstaining form sex because I am a child of God and I know that I would
not please him if I am disobedient to Him. It is honorable in His sight to remain sexually
pure until marriage. I desire to please God not man."
- Suzanne L. Kerr, High School Student
"I would encourage other youths to take the course because of the wide scope it
covers, thus teaching everyone something new or adding growth to your knowledge on sexual
subjects, dating and relationships. The course helps to strengthen your stand on sexual
abstinence and it makes you confident knowing others are there to stand behind you. Most
importantly, the course provided a place for private and confidential counseling. I was
able to open up and felt so much better deep inside and even socially among others. This
was something that I have never experienced before. God has begun to heal me mentally,
spiritually and emotionally and is continuing to do so everyday since I started the
course. Thank you Lord."

"I would encourage others to take this course because it contains a wealth of
knowledge and it also teaches that once the act has already been committed, God is willing
and able to forgive you and restore you to your former position, which is sexually pure.
This course has provided an avenue to learn and discuss things that are not usually
discussed."

"I have learnt about sexual immorality, STDs, what to do about meeting the opposite
sex, my sexuality, do's and don'ts, about dating and what is impure in God's sight."
- Mechelle McDonald, High School Student
This course was a confirmation of what my mothers teaches, family and bible teaching me, I
learnt how and why to abstain. I also learnt that God has a plan for me, and his plan is
not for me to be bitten with a nine months bug before marriage"
- Dwana Davis, College Student
"I learnt to respect others and to say "No." and not to have sex until I'm
married."
- Sandy Munroe, Junior High Student
"One sperm is 450 times larger than the AIDS virus and even sperm leaks through
condoms"
-Brent Wong, High School Student
"That as young ladies we are not top expose our bodies, because our bodies are
temples of the Lord"
-Christina Charlton, High School Student
"Sex before marriage is not God's plan. Having sex before marriage can ruin your life
for years to come."
-Javest Dulcio, Junior Student
"I learned that if I stay away from sex before marriage, I would have a better
relationship and I will get STDs if I do it"
- Robert Knowles, High School Student
"In the NSTM course I learnt more about the danger or negative things before
marriage. Such as unwanted pregnancies, sexual transmitted diseases and the dehumanizing
of your body and spirit."
