The Pool-Dog's World Race #2 of 2001 Season-Camden, NJ

First off, I apologize for the roughness and blur of the pictures-tough shooting conditions with weak film...

April 22, 2001-Camden, NJ., Phila. Region SCCA- Very large space, nice open course. Perfect weather-sunny w/a breeze off the Delaware River. The design of the course was surely welcomed by all those with high HP cars. I thought I might do well on the large lot, but couldn't pull it out. On sweeping 2nd gear turns at high rpms my inside front tire would actually lose traction and start peeling out-at about 50 mph!

That never helps the overall time. The slalom went much better than the previous run at Nazareth and the car felt great in that section. By the end of the runs I was running 50 psi in the front tires, and only 34 in the rear-definitely could've used a larger rear sway bar here. I had a .8 sec lead on Moyer going into his final run, and he magically pulled something out his a** and beat my time by .06 sec!!

Unbelieveable. I shut off the camcorder before my comments were recorded. I ended up 15th of 25 in STS, 53rd of 120 overall. Not the position I would've liked, but as usual the 2.5RS's did well again.

This is a tough region.
