March 2000 was a bit reclusive as I recovered from the last several months of travel, anticipating the next several...got some new lyrics written and started paving the way for fun in Europe.
February was a bit rainy in San Francisco. Efforts on publishing my songs, recording and tuning into some gig action was the agenda.
The soul expresses it's need to dive deeper and expand it's awareness of it's full potential. Is
there anything more important than learning how to deepen our capacity to love?
The lyrics just keep on flowing.
December 1999 was a great time to go home for the holidays. New lyrics
are birthed so easily on the road. Baltimore is alive and well and the
music scene there just keeps on exploding.
November 1999 was focused on working with Peter Chang on his up and
coming debut CD, Station of Dreams. It's a sensual and groove oriented
world fusion project. Additionally, new material for my CD is always
evolving. Hope your Thanksgiving was full of love...
Thanks for tuning in...
October 1999 was a journey back east. New connections with
the Peabody Conservatory and Baltimore's # 1 voted best
new talent, Angela Taylor mixed in some Jazz on the menu.
Very cool woman. And Baltimore keeps the dance floor packed,
too. Whether it's the Pink Floyd tribute band in Towson,
or the chic stops at the Inner Harbor.
In the studio, a great new trance pop rock song,
Ascension, emerged with Chris Krotky as engineer at
Little Buddha Studios. Retha
Chadwick and I are working on some duets.
Ongoing auditions are continuing until the band thing
solidifies...I'm hoping artists Peter Chang of SF, Noah
and Retha, both in Marin, and Marcus Stewart of Oakland
will find their way to jam til we get the sets going for
the gold! Lots of excitement there's going to be.
In September 1999, the Burning Man event was a complete success!
I sang in the Lounge at Camp Icarus. Audio clips up
and coming!! Four days invoking the goddess essence gave
everyone some soothing tones for they're own discovery
process.
This past August 1999 set the fire for the rest of Autumn,
this year! The warm weather finally arrived, the earth
moved and I got a whole lot of new songs together in
line. Collaborations with Grant Collier of Reign, Noah of Rare
Myth Fiction and others got the summer vibes going.
