THE DREAMING GODDESS
Everything in this painting is a living symbol. Many of the ancient European animals co-relate to the symbolism used in the Southwest USA, millenia later than the prehistoric symbolism. Our creation is a weaving of threads, peoples, throughout the aeons.

COSMIC TURTLE
In almost every culture, the turtle is seen as a symbol of earth. From ancient pre-history, where it is a womb symbol, to more recent belief systems, where it holds up the earth, sky, or a deity. The earth is the womb of all life as we know it.
