Sometimes an image will come to me, and as I paint it I learn what it means. This one spoke to me about repression: governmental, religious, and self. What is not perceived cannot be communicated.

Critical Mass
Aah! Modern living! Junk mail and phone calls. Screaming commercials, air polution, traffic congestion, and urban sprawl. What more could one want?!! I think there is something here for everyone.
w/c, collage, prisma & acrylic
35.5" x 23.25"
$3500

Justice?
When a country calculates its Gross National Products, or a company its profits, where is the cost of the non-renewable resources? As they skulk away with bulging pockets, do they care that there will be no more? I doubt that they even think about it.
w/c, collage & acrylic
18" x 24"
$1500

Revisionist Biology
Storks! Cabbage patches! How funny! That some are SO loath to discuss an act of love. Therefore, I assume that they prefer to find their babies FULLY CLOTHED, rather than (gasp!) NAKED!!
w/c & acrylic
22" x 30"
$2500

The Artist's Revenge
Jurors, critics, censors and ignorant politicians all get theirs in this one. I'm sure most artists can appreciate it.
