Signing Up:

To register your team for Desert Fox, you must meet the following requirements:
1. Your team must have a roster with at least 3 and no more than 6 members. Each individual game can be played with as few as 2 members if you desire, but they MUST BE ON THE ROSTER. No substitutions will be allowed following the start of Desert Fox, however, I am allowing every order to have 2 subs. There is still a maximum limit of 6 players per game per team. However, unlike the main roster, subs MUST be part of your clan. You cannot switch subs with your already signed-up players on your roster. It is alright to include friends that are not in any clan as part of your main roster.
2. You must provide in the e-mail a team name and the team's tag if applicable. You are authorized to include the team logo and any extra information to put on your statistics page. I will determine the seeding by using Bungie.net to locate your clan.
3. You must have a contact person that checks his/her e-mail at least once every two days.

Seeding:

Seeding will be determined by the Myth II order statistics, with the best clans getting the highest seeds. For those teams without statistics, they will receive the lowest seeds in the order of who signed up for DF earliest. The way the first round will be set up is the first seed against the sixteenth seed, second against fifteenth, et cetera, with the winners of each series moving on to the second round. The next opponent will be e-mailed to all clans as well as posted on the webpage. If not all 16 spots have been filled by the time DF begins, a certain number of the highest seeds will advance to the second round automatically to allow for each team to have a matchup.

Playing the Games:

Clans will have one week once the first set of opponents are given out to meet their opponent and play the games. A deadline will be given out that is to be used for the official game time, but it is encouraged that clan leaders e-mail each other and decide upon a better time earlier. I will be present at the deadlines if the games have not yet been completed. If one team shows up but the other does not, the team that does not forfeits the entire series and is eliminated. If neither team shows up, it will count as a double forfeit and both teams will be eliminated (special seeding will then be implemented for the next round). If there is an argument over who hosts, test out everyone's pings and use the best host. Even if the best host is still slow, this still must be done. If there are still arguments, e-mail me, but once a game has begun, it is too late to leave. If players drop from a game that has all of the settings correct (see below), the team still standing wins just that game. If the host drops, the other team wins the game. If only one player on one team remains, gameplay continues and that player can continue playing. All films must be ZIPped and sent to me in an attached file.

Game Settings:

All games must have a minimum of 1 minute planning time. Standard game time must be at least 15 minutes, but can be increased if agreed to by all players (but not to more than 40). Unit trading must be on, deathmatch off, veterans off.
These maps will be used for Desert Fox: Desert Between Your Ears, If I Had A Trow, Venice, Dead Winter, Clash in the Cloudspine, and Badlands. These game types will be used: Territories, Capture the Flag, Assassin, Balls on Parade, Stampede. These are given to allow you to practice, but keep in mind that each round has specific maps and game types that must be used. Here they are:
First Round: Best of 3 series (first team to win 2.) Game options are Assassin Desert, Stampede Clash, and Territories Venice.
Second Round: Best of 5 series. Game options are BOP Badlands, Terries Trow, Assassin Winter, CTF Desert, and CTF Badlands.
Semifinals: Best of 5 series. Game options are Assassin Trow, Terries Winter, Assassin Badlands, Stampede Desert, and CTF Clash.
Finals: TBA
Players agree on the order in which to play these, but each may only be played once except in the event of a tie. In the event of a tie, only that same map may be played again. If you have any questions, please e-mail me.
