Thank you for visiting my website! My name is Avian Jangula, and I am an actor/director/stage manager around the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. I graduated in 2007 from Drake University with a degree in Directing and a minor in Writing.
I am currently a board member with The Chameleon Theatre Circle, the resident theatre company of the Ames Center in Burnsville. I am also a board member and a company member with Green T Productions, a physical theatre-based group in St. Paul.
I approach theatre from the perspectives of characterization, motivation, and internal-to-external physicalization. I enjoy performing in a variety of styles of theatre, though my favorites are musicals or physically-based productions. I have experience both onstage and off as an actor, director, and stage manager.
When I am not doing theatre, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, watching TV, writing, and cuddling with my two precious kitties. I especially enjoy Real Crime, Mystery, Anime, and Fantasy.
