Basement Jam Space
When I bought my new house last year, I though I would finish the basement. Right now, I'm glad I didn't! All the open space makes for a great jam place, and my neighbors are very agreeable to all my noise making.
Mackie 1604 VLZ Mixer
16 channel mixing board with 4 assignable busses and 16 mic preamps. This is a really nice board and is pretty user friendly.
Main Rack
From top to bottom: Rackrider power conditioner, Digitech rack reverb, Yamaha compressor, 15 band stereo main EQ, Alesis rack reverb, Crest CA6 power amp. The Mackie board through the Crest gives some top notch sound!
Monitor Rack
My current monitor rack runs a ART 31 band EQ through a QSC USA 900 amp. The Mackie main board permits using reverb through the monitors for a better monitor sound.
18 inch 3 way Sonic Mains
No Subwoofer required! These things crank enough volume with the Crest to play a gymnasium! Great sound, too!
Sonic 15 in 2 Way Monitors
I have three Sonic monitors of this variety. Having three means the drummer always has his/her own personal monitor. These are big enough to be heard no matter how loud the mains get!
