The Freaknik Travels

Once again, it was on! All I had to worry about this time was how tired I was gonna be on my job Monday morning, and I didn't think about that once my friend Mike and I cruised into downtown ATL! I don't know about the rest of ya, but I wasn't disappointed! There were sidewalks full of Freaknik ballers and playas, there were streets full of candy-coated cars and trucks with chrome or gold rims or spokes, and of course there were more fine Black women than you could shake a stick at!
Peachtree Street, Atlanta GA

And it was on from the jump. The Underground was so packed that you could barely move! It was all good, though! Ain't nothing wrong with bumpin into a bunch of fine ladies, and there were plenty of them.

Oh yeah, ya knows ya gotta have the concert! ATL's very own A-Town Players represented on the stage and got the crowd so crunk they had to call security! Goodie Mob was there, and Triple-6 Mafia also represented.

Speaking about security, APD and Fulton County Sheriff's Department were straight up tight! They weren't playing at all! When 11:30 came Saturday night, they cleaned downtown and locked it up! And all through the day they cracked down on everything, even standing in the streets looking at the peep shows! I heard that over 1200 people were arrested in Atlanta during Freaknik weekend!

"Get out the car!" A deputy draws down on some 'suspects'
But when ya got women as fine as this one all over the city, ya can't help but act a fool! And there were plenty upon plenty of reasons to act a fool in Atlanta that weekend: from thick honies walking down the street in some daisy dukes to the peep shows in the middle of the street. Ya know something's going on when a gang of bruthas all of a sudden home in on a car, crowd around the car like flies to dookie, then chase the car halfway down the street! Like I said earlier; it's on!
