How it works?

 

 

Central Processing Unit (CPU) - main function is to perform arithmetic and logical operations.

Input Devices - any data input to the computer system for processing using any device that are attached to the computer such as mouse, keyboard, joystick, lightpen, touch screen and scanner.

Output Devices – raw data processed into usable information using any device such as printer and harddisk.

Memory (Primary memory or Random-Access-memory (RAM)) -temporarily stores data or information.

Secondary Memory (Auxiliary storage) – information can be permanently stored.
