Descendants of Jonas Coaker
Ann Jenkins was the daughter of William and Catherine Jenkins
John Jonas the son of Benjamin and Ann Clarke married 11 Dec 1774. Both Families lived in Brigus South SS. In 1777 they applied for land in order to extend their Fishery.
Dec 1816 William arranged for George Tilley to sell the property and moved his Family to St Johns
John Jonas and Ann moved to a small Island in Notre Dame Bay where they named their farm house and outbuildings Coakerville.
Their four children would return to St Johns where they married into families southside east
