Chafe a Petty Harbour Family

Descendants of James Searle

A Petty Harbour Family, James Searle and Darriah Chafe moved to St John's were he became Church Sexton at the Kirk. He retired to St Mary's Lane Southside where he died.

By her marriage to Edward Coaker, Mary Searle occupied the residence of William Coyell which was east of the church and St Marys Lane. She died there 12 Feb 1924 of Heart Failure
