Chapter One

By: Kerry

“Ya’ll have to come with me tonight!” Diana exclaimed over the phone that afternoon.

“Come where?” Laura asked.

“To the club!” Diana said.

“With who?” Kerry demanded.

“The Backstreet Boys.” Diana casually replied.

“The Backstreet Boys!” Laura and Kerry questioned simultaneously.

“Yea sure!” Diana shrugged.

“I am NOT going anywhere with any pop group!” Kerry exclaimed.

“Why not? They’re not that bad. They’re really fun to hang out with, even if you don’t like them.” Diana defended. She hated it when her friends were unreasonable.

“And they’re ugly! Except the one with all the tattoos. He’s kind of cute.” Kerry giggled.

“You would think that!” Laura rolled her eyes.

“His name is AJ.” Diana put in.

“Well, whatever his name is, he’s not all that bad looking.” Kerry sighed.

“Please come!” Diana pleaded.

“Why do you want us to come?” Laura demanded.

“I have a bet for you guys.”

“No.” Kerry stated.

“What? All I was going to is I bet that you can’t make on of them take you to their house tonight.”

“Who?” Laura asked.

“Doesn’t really matter.” Diana replied.

“How much are you going to pay us?” Kerry interrogated.

“50 dollars.” Diana agreed.

“I’m not doing that!” Laura exclaimed. “It’s not christian.”

“You poor little lamb.” Kerry shook her head.

“I’m not a poor little lamb. I’m just good.” Laura defended.

“I’ll do it!” Kerry smiled.

“You will?” Diana asked. “Why don’t you try to get Brian?”

“Why him? He’s the ugly one with long hair isn’t he?” Kerry wrinkled up her nose.

“No! That’s Howie.” Diana replied. “Brian would be the most challenging.”

“He’s ugly.” Kerry paused. “Actually, all of them are. Like I said the only one half decent is the one with all the tattoos.”

“A.J.? Laura,” Diana questioned, “are you game? You don’t actually have to go home with them.”

“Alright. I guess.” She hesitated.

“Why don’t you try Brian?”

“He’s married isn’t he?’

“So?’

“I’m not going to disturb a marriage. I wanna try to get that cute blond one.”

Diana sighed. “Come on Kerry. You know you want the challenge.”

“No, BJ. No. That wasn’t his name. AJ yea, him.” Kerry laughed.

“Why him?” Diana questioned.

“I’ve already told you,” Kerry sighed. “He’s the only one that looks decent.”

“Alright.” Diana sneered. “Well, meet me at the club at eight o’clock.”

“Sure.” Kerry replied.

“Alright.” Laura said.

“Bye.”

“Bye.”

“Bye.”

Diana slammed down the phone. He plan had totally backfired. Nobody would try to get Brian. At least she should be getting 100 dollars. She went to her closet and irritated, trying to find the most stunning out fir she could.

“I can’t do this!” Laura whispered as they got out of the car.

“Come on. It’s just a joke. Besides if you don’t, you have to give Diana 50 bucks.” Kerry rolled her eyes.

“I don’t have 50!” Laura exclaimed.

“Well you will if you come on.” Kerry walked into the club and over to Diana. “Hey.” She said.

“Hey.” Diana replied. “Do ya’ll know what guys you’re looking for?”

Chapter Two
By:Laura

“Oh my gosh, Nick! No!” Laura laughed touching his arm.

“I’m serious! I really did!” Nick claimed pulling her in his arms.

“Look at the.” Laura said pointed over at AJ and Kerry. They were dancing to the music as close as anyone could get.

“Don’t you think we should join them?” Nick prodded yanking Laura up against him.

Both couples for the evening, danced the night away with the next few songs. Soon AJ was calling Nick over towards the punch table. The girls decided they needed a restroom break.

“So what are you going to do with her tonight?” AJ asked nudging his buddy.

“Man! I know what you’ll be doing! Don’t even try and talk to me tomorrow!” Nick cried.

“So, boys! What do you think of those two lovely young ladies you have ready to take to heaven and back tonight?” Howie questioned knowing what was on both of their minds.

“Extremely hot! At least mine is!” AJ exclaimed.

“Oh yeah!” Nick agreed, except thinking of his Laura.

“Hi guys!” Diana smiled walking over to AJ and attaching herself to his arm.

“Hi, Di! Ya having fun tonight? Thanks for bringing your friends with you. Me and Nick really like them.”

“Well, you need to be careful, especially with Kerry. I mean, she really sleeps around and will use you for everything you’ve got. I’ve seen her do it, to so many guys. She plays all sweet and innocent, then that night...well you get what I’m saying.” Diana mumbled as she finished.

“I think I can handle myself with her. I’ve known a lot of girls like her.”

“But AJ! She’s worse then any other girl I’ve heard of!”

“Di! I’m fine!” AJ assured walking away. Kerry had just come out of the bathroom with Laura right behind her. Nick soon swept her away, much to her delight.

“Can I have this dance?” AJ teased bowing slightly.

“Haven’t you had all of them tonight? But I guess you could have another.” Kerry smiled seductively as AJ gave her hand a kiss. A small giggle escaped from Kerry as AJ led her over to the dance floor.

“So what do you think tonight will bring?” Brian asked his cousin, Kevin.”

“Not sure. Let’s hope it’s not a lot of regrets.” Kevin sighed.

“Well, who knows. You got AJ, Nick..well...that one will be tough to tell.” Brian replied watching his two band members dance away.

Chapter Three
By:Laura

“AJ, honey! Can we go home now? I’m so tired.” Kerry begged clutching to AJ’s arm to help support him. He wasn’t a hundred percent sober anymore.

“Sure baby. Let’s go.” AJ slurred giving her a kiss full on the lips.

“Ya wanna go with them?” Nick asked guiding Laura towards the door. He had actually behaved himself through the night. Laura had an innocence about her that he didn’t want to disturb.

“Sure.” Laura sighed following Nick’s lead.

As they all four walked outside towards the taxi, Diana showed her full disgust. This hadn’t gone the way she wanted.

“Here’s the cab, AJ.” Kerry pointed out to stop AJ from kissing her neck. AJ crawled in the taxi, pulling Kerry behind him and into his lap. Laura and Nick soon copied their example, just without the kissing.

“My gosh!” Laura sighed turning to look out the window. She was tired of watching AJ and Kerry make out. It really wasn’t the most pleasant thing to see.

“Are you okay?” Nick asked noticing her complete silence.

“Well, just go on to sleep for now. We won’t get to my house for a little while.”

“Okay.” Laura was tired of this and didn’t want to put herself in a terrible position tonight. She knew what both guys wanted out of them. “Hey Kerry!”

“Go away.” Kerry mumbled trying to stay with AJ.

Laura noticed the car was stopped in late night traffic in the middle of a lighted tunnel.

“No, Kerry! Now!” Laura demanded yanking her friend away from her passionate lip lock, that would have soon led to something else.

“What the...” Kerry screamed when she realized they were running through the dimmly lit tunnel. “What are we doing?”

“You don’t wanna loose it tonight, do you?’

“Well, no.”

“You would have. Now keep running!”

“Ya know, this is just like the guy’s new music video, ‘The Call’.” Kerry pointed out.

“That’s right! Except there weren’t people in the cars. And there arn’t any in these cars!” Laura screamed starting to panic. She had a very vivid imagination.

“Laura. Shut up! There are people in the cars. You just can’t see them because of the wonderful invention of tented windows. Just keep running! Where in the heck are we going.”

“I dunno.”
