Time Warp

Late Saturday day morning

“That is not just kissing.” I said firmly.

“So,” he shrugged.

“You said we would keep it at just kissing.” I told him.

“I lied,” he laughed, “staying at just kissing is ridiculous.”

“What do you mean it’s ridiculous?” I demanded. “This is only our first date.”

“Second. The first was the dance, but who says there’s gonna be another?”

“There’s not?” I asked slowly realizing what was going on.

“Not if you insist on just kissing.”

“Well I do.”

“I don’t think I can allow that.”

“What?”

“I don’t want to stop now.”

“We have to I’m not doing any more. Take me home.”

“No.”

“No?”

“That’s what I said. No. I’m not taking you home until you do what I want you to.”

“Are you serious?” I asked surprised this guy I had liked for so long was turning into such a jerk before my eyes.

“Of course I’m serious.”

I sat there for a minute in shock. “Well let me use your phone because I’m not staying here doing that with you.”

“No. I’ll take you home when you give me what I want.”

“No. Let me use your phone.”

“Nope. Not until….”

“I get the picture,” I snapped interrupting him. “I’ll walk.” I stand up, hook my bra back and march out of the door and out his house.

He doesn’t really live that far away. Only a couple of miles. A few. Something. I didn’t want my parents to know what happened so I walked the whole way. It was a little scary. I just knew someone was gonna come and rob me or rape me or something but I got home safe.

AJ called me. I wasn’t very enthusiastic and I hope he doesn’t think I don’t like him anymore ‘cause I do, but I just had a hard night. I didn’t tell him why I was unhappy, but I did tell him to call back sometime. He said they were doing something near here soon and that he’ll call me and tell me so maybe we can meet up. He said all that before he realized how depressed I was though.

I can’t help being depressed. I’ve like Scott for three years and finally he asks me on a date and I find out that’s all he wants. Guys are so annoying
