I stood at the airport waiting. The plane was late. Finally it arrived. Fist I saw Nick, then Brian, then Howie, Kevin, and finally AJ. Why was he always last getting off of planes?? He was certainly talented at that.
“Liz!!” He yelled across the room. I had to smile as he skipped over to me holding his arms out.
“Finally!” I laughed.
“What do you mean finally?” He asked pulling me into his arms.
“I haven’t seen you in forever and you just have to be the last person off the plane.” I replied holding him tightly.
“Sorry! I just happen to be nice and let everybody else off first.” He gave me a quick kiss and let go.
“Let’s go find the rest of the gang.” I proposed. “I haven’t seen them in forever either!”
“Okay!” He replied cheerfully grabbing my hand and pulling me off in the direction of everybody else. “Did you miss me?”
“Of course I did!” I reply happily. “Did you miss me?”
“Baby, what do you think?”
“I don’t know. You see a lot of girls…”
“I haven’t ever thought about anybody else. You should know that.”
“I’m just teasing you.”
“You shouldn’t tease about that.”
“I didn’t think you would mind.”
“I just don’t wan to think you think I’m cheating on you.”
“It would be so easy wouldn’t it?”
“Maybe.”
I didn’t say anything for a min.
“Do you think I am?”
“No. I guess not.”
“You guess? What do you mean you guess? I think you should trust me. I’m your freaking’ boyfriend. You’ve been going out with me for five years!!”
“I do trust you, AJ, but….” I trail off confused.
“But what?” He demanded jerking me to face him. “But what?”
“Nothing.” I tell him. “Nothing at all.”
“What changed? Why did you change on me?”
“I didn’t change. You did.”
“Me?”
“Yes, you’re the one whose been touring in front of millions of ecstatic fans for 5 years.”
“Does that mean I’ve changed?”
“No. But I think you have.”
“Elisabeth!” I heard Brian call and I turned around to give my attention to the rest of the guys.
