"Oh, by the way, did I tell you I died my hair red?" AJ asks on the phone one day.
"No!" I exclaim. "When?"
"Earlier today." He replies casually.
"How can you forget to tell me something like that?"
"I told you didn't I?"
"Yea. but we've been talking for a half an hour. How could you not have told me that first thing?
"Just didn't." He shrugged.
"Alex!"
"What! I just didn't think about it."
"What else didn't you think about? Did you go get drunk with some strange girl again?"
"Liz. You know how sorry I am about that."
"Yea, but that doesn't mean your not going to do it again."
"Elizabeth listen. That only happened once."
"What happened to the sweet little boy you were when we met?"
"I changed." AJ retorted getting angry. "I had to. It was my job."
"Yea and I loved your job at first, but it changed you and I don't love it anymore and I don't know that I love who it has changed you into."
