“AJ baby, you need to get up” She whispered into his ear.
“All I wanna do is to spend the day with my wife in bed”
“Well, she mustn’t know about this than” Amy joked, causing AJ to laugh.
“That’s what I had planned” He said, wrapping his arms tightly around her.
“Are we seriously married?”
“Yes, I do believe we are. I’m surprised no one came to stop us”
“True, but we shouldn’t worry about that. We’re still on our honeymoon”
“Oh yeah. And I just remembered something”
“Now what is it dear husband of mine?”
“I still haven’t found that damn tattoo!” He exclaimed, than dove under the covers.
“AJ…whoa, it’s definitely not there!” She exclaimed, giggling at him.
“Ah-ha, I found it! Finally!” He said, peeking out from underneath.
“So does my baby like?”
“Baby loves it. Very, very fashionable”
“AJ, it’s a simple rose with thorns around it”
“Exactly, but you just make it so much more sexier”
“Sure, okay. I need to get a shower”
“You know what I think? I think you need company”
“Than join me already!” She exclaimed and ran into the bathroom.
“God, I love this!” AJ said, following her a minute later.
Em woke up with her head resting on someone’s chest. She figured it was Nick, but when she looked up, she was wrong. Brian was sleeping and she couldn’t remember much. All she remembered was drinking and drinking some more…Shit, I didn’t. Why the did I have to drink and what am I gonna tell Nick? Oh God, She thought as she got out of bed and dressed quickly. That’s when she heard Brian begin to wake up.
“Em, what…where are you going?” He asked, pulling on a pair of boxers and getting out of bed.
“Brian, I have to talk to Nick. What happened last night meant nothing”
“You can’t just push it away like it never happened”
“You don’t understand. I can’t drink too much or…well things like this happen”
“Lets just talk about this”
“Not now, I need to find Nick”
“No need for that” Came a reply from the doorway and Em immediately felt like dirt.
“Nick I can explain…Please”
“I don’t want to hear it. Don’t come near me again. Both of you” He said and left.
“Nick! Don’t go, I need you!” Em exclaimed and started to sob.
“I’m so sorry, Em. I didn’t mean for this to happen”
“Well it did, and now I’m left with the consequences. Why didn’t you stop it Brian? You had enough sense and you weren’t drunk. Why?”
“I…I don’t know. It was like I wasn’t even there. Like my soul just watched my body. I can’t explain it”
“I can’t stay here. I need to find Nick and get everything straightened out”
“I’m here if you need me”
“You’re the last person I want to turn to at the moment” She replied, then stormed out of the room. Brian collapsed onto the bed, feeling the worst possible ever.
Kevin and Howie were searching through the only hotel they hadn’t checked yet. They were close to giving up, but Kevin would not rest until he find them.
“Kev man, they probably already went back to Florida”
“Not those two. They’re probably honeymooning. They have to be here”
“I think I’m just going to go back and catch up on some shut-eye”
“Wait, do you hear that?”
“Here what? You must be going delusional” Howie said sighing.
“Just down the hall. I hear giggling”
“It could be any one, dude”
Suddenly, Amy and AJ burst through the door, laughing about something. They stopped when they noticed Kev and Howie looking at them, Kev slightly more angrier than Howie.
“Boys, what are you doing here?” AJ asked smiling.
“Looking for you for the past 24 hrs.” Kev replied solemnly.
“We’re sorry about that. We just wanted to get married”
“Well, you were both irresponsible and should have thought about your actions. What the hell is the press going to think, huh? And the fans? They’re just going to have a picnic on this one”
“Kev, ease up a little” Howie said, trying to calm him.
“I will not calm down! AJ needs to learn he can’t just go and marry some girl just because he’s actually known her longer than a week. He needs to know his career is more important”
“Will you please excuse me?” Amy interrupted, fighting the tears that were about to fall. She didn’t wait for an answer and ran off.
“Fuck you Kevin! I’m in love with Amy and I’ve never felt better. I’m so fucking glad I did get married and screw the fans, screw the press, they’ll just have to deal with it. My career is not that damn important to jeopardize a relationship over” AJ replied, than went after Amy.
“Damn Kev, that was a little on the harsh side. I think you need to apologize”
“I don’t think I do. I was being rational”
“Rational my ass. How would you act if someone said that Kristin meant nothing compared to your career?”
“I’d kick their ass in a heartbeat”
“Well, than I’m guessing that’s what AJ feels right about now” Howie replied and walked off.
“Baby, he didn’t mean it. Kevin was just trying to be…well Kevin”
“He’s right, AJ. Your career is far more important than some little marriage to me”
“Don’t say that! I love you so much that not even words can express it. I feel completely happy when you’re around and I don’t ever want that feeling to go away”
“I feel the same, I just don’t want you to regret this”
“I could never do that. I really do love you and I can’t wait for my mom to meet you”
“Shit! I forgot about that!” Amy said, suddenly upset.
“Hey, my mom will love you to pieces”
“I hope so. Why don’t we go find them so we can all go back together?”
“I would love to do that”
“Hey guys, sorry about Kevin back there”
“It’s okays, Howie. We were just going to look for ya”
“C’mon, lets all go back to the hotel” He said as they all began to walk towards the exit.
“Nick, please just listen to me” Em begged as she followed him to his hotel suite.
“I can’t even look at you right now. Leave me alone”
“Just give me a chance to explain. I have to tell you why it happened”
“Damn it Em! It doesn’t take a genius to figure that out. You were drunk, plain and simple”
“No, there’s more to it than that”
“What else could there be? A little table dance? Maybe a striptease?”
“Nick, I’m serious. Please just meet me downstairs in ten minutes”
“Fine, I’ll be down in ten minutes” He said and Em left to go downstairs.
Em went downstairs just as the others were walking inside.
“EMMERS!! I missed you girl!” Amy exclaimed, running up to her.
“Yeah, so where’s the ring? I need to see”
“Right here” She said and showed her. It was a simple silver band with her birthstone, which was peridot(light green), in the middle of it.
“Girl, that is so pretty. I like it a lot”
“Hey, you seem upset. What’s up?”
“I’ll explain as soon as Nick comes down”
“Alright, whatever you say”
So they waited patiently until Nick arrived. What Em was about to tell them they had no clue, but were a little eager to know what could have her so distraught.
