Chapter 5

“Do you see her, man?” asked AJ looking around.

“No not yet.” answered Nick.

At the same time

“Do you see him?” asked Mouse looking around.

“Yeah I think so up ahead he’s wearing a neon green shirt and he is turned the
other way.” Stacy said looking at Nick.  ‘Dang, he looks good, who is that
guy with him, it looks like AJ’ Stacy said to herself.

“I still don’t see her, mabey she didn’t come.” Nick said turning to look a
different way.  

“Of course she would come, let’s keep looking.” AJ assured Nick.

“Are you ready to meet him?” asked Mouse

“I guess” Stacy walked up to Nick

“Hi Nick.”

Nick turned around at the sound of a voice of a girl ‘Oh, no we’ve been
spotted’ Nick looked at the girl and thought to himself that she was very
pretty and figured he would give her an autograph and hopefully she would
not cause a commotion.

“Uh hi” Nick answered cautiously.

“You don’t recognize me do you?” asked Stacy with a smile on her face.

“No, do I know you?” asked Nick not sure of who this girl could be.

“Yeah, you know me, does Stacy ring a bell?”

“Stacy?!?!?” asked Nick shocked.  She sure had grown up and was now
definitely not chubby.

“Well that’s not the kind of hello I was expecting but yes, in the flesh, how are
you Nick?”

“I’m sorry, but you look alot different then what I remembered”  Nick bent
down and gave Stacy a hug.  There was a big height difference but they fit
perfectly in each others arms.

“Is that good or bad?” Stacy asked with a smirk on her face.

“A good different” Nick smiled back.

All of the sudden Mouse and AJ cleared their throats.

“Oh yeah, where are my manners, this is my best friend Mouse”

“Hi Mouse nice to meet you.” Nick and AJ answered.

AJ couldn’t keep his eyes off of her.

“Nice to meet you” Mouse answered looking at AJ the whole time.

“Well we better get going before we get spotted.” Nick told the girls and they
started walking.

“Let me carry your bags” AJ offered Mouse.

“Why thankyou, such a gentleman” Mouse said sarcastically and gave AJ her
bags.

“Here let me take those” Nick told Stacy grabbing her bags.

“Thanks.”

They walked to the parking lot and headed towards Nick’s green Durango.

“Nice car.” Stacy commented.

“Thanks, what kind of car do you have?” asked Nick trying to make
conversation.

“A silver ‘99 Jetta” Stacy answered proudly, she loved her car.

“Those are nice too.” Nick answered as they got into the car.  Nick and Stacy
sat in the front and AJ and Mouse in the back.

“Yeah, thats the only car I ever wanted, when I got my Drivers License my
parents gave it to me as a surprise.”

“So how are your parents?” asked Nick.

“They’re good and yours?” 
“They are good too.” Nick answered starting the car.

Meanwhile Mouse and AJ where in a deep conversation about clubbing.

They headed toward Nick’s house a 15 min drive.

“So how is school?” asked Nick.

“School’s good.”

“Have you decided which college or university you’re going to?”

“Actually yes.”

“Where is it?”

“Here in Tampa.”
