General Camp Info

What are Hosted Dinners?

Hosting dinner is a fun competition between units/companies. Each unit will be hosting a dinner (either Saturday night or Sunday night) and being hosted the other night. Hosted dinners will be judged each night by those running the day and camp. You fill be judged on the criteria of presentation, taste, hospitality, and theme.

You will be serving the number is people in your unit/company times 2 plus two. Example: you have 6 in your unit/company, you will be serving 14. So bring out your best recipes that go along with Disney. There is also a dessert competition so bring along your best desserts.

**NB** If your unit/company is VERY large (i.e. greater than 12 people) you are welcome to split it in half for the dinners. You will only be judged once for the dinners. Please fill out the Split Group for Hosted Dinners box on the registration form if you do this.

Calling all Talent

Saturday night there is a talent show. We ask that ALL units/companies participate whether individually or as a group. We ask that there is NO foul language or inappropriate acts (i.e. NO LIGHTING SHOES ON FIRE) as there may be some of our younger Scouting members there (Cubs and Beavers). Sign up lists will be available at camp. So bring your most talented and untalented to camp and we'll see you up on stage!

Cinderella Ball

To go along with our Disney theme, our Sunday dance will be a Cinderella Ball. You are welcome to come to the dance dressed up as your favourite Disney character. We will be having a competition for the Cinderella and Prince of the dance, but you do not have to be dressed as either to win. Judging will occur in the first 30 min of the dance. See you out there! **NB** This IS a regular dance so don't worry . . .
